Since former President Donald Trump launched his campaign in 2016, the FBI has been involved in a series of shady, politicized acts that seem to benefit the Democratic Party. Now, Congress might have decided to rein in the rogue agency at last.
On November 30, Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) sent a letter to FBI Director Chris Wray, asking for details of the Bureau’s policies for recruiting and using “Covert Human Intelligence Sources (CHS).” Jordan pointed out, “The FBI has had a poor track record in recent years of relying on CHSs.” He cited the Bureau’s use of renegade former British spy Christopher Steele, who produced the notorious dossier used against Trump in the discredited Russia collusion case. Steele’s main source of information was Igor Danchenko, a Russian analyst who’s been investigated for lying to the FBI.
Now, Jordan has told Wray to produce a list of key information, including how many CHSs the agency used, how much they’re paid, and the current policies for recruiting and running them. The deadline for the FBI to respond is December 14.
By that date, Jordan wants to know if the Bureau noticed any red flags while it was recruiting Steele and Danchenko — and, if it did, why they didn’t act on them. Agents for one of our leading law enforcement agencies provided misleading information, and Jordan wants to know why.

it was so strongly worded that the left peed themselves laughing so hard-
instead of referring congress investigational materials to justice or in addition to doing so... try to submit to red state and local governments in such volume that some charges no matter how trivial will stick and result in incarceration, bankruptcy and a darkening cloud of fear until the regime falls.
committing felonies across state lines with foreign nations or similar... could be charged as slight bending of state and local laws as well as federal... when the feds refuse to prosecute or incarcerate... the states can lock the perps up incommunicado for parking tickets and jaywalking for all I care.
get outside the fedgov paradigm
As much as I don’t like Muslims much..... Many of the Muslim terrorist plots the FBI has uncovered in the last 15 years or so. And always publicized them tremendously to show the FBI is hard at work. These involved FBI informants that enticed a group of Muslim dupes into these crimes. One involved some American born black Muslims who were really clowns.
got to protect the narrative
I’m almost certain that “Congress” has no clue the absolute @#$%storm they are thinking of sailing into.
The sternness of the letter he will write is going to be epic.
Remember Holder stiffing Congress? They issued a contempt order referal to DOJ for prosecution and what happened?.........Nuffin.
Same here.
Wray is Biden’s wing man. Short of a white feather nothing is going to happen to Wray unless some FBI agent within catches Wray red handed, arrests him and claps him in irons.
The ideal swamp rat.

Shouldn’t they have used the word “Pounces” instead of “Attacks?”
