Impeachment is a futile effort absent 67 votes to convict in the Senate.

President Trump was impeached twice, maybe three times and he was able to remain in office

Absent the ability to legislate Pelosi set her House to making mischief that was in effect, valueless

Quit being rational. It annoys those who like to let their emotions run wild with fantasies.

No, we are not voting our way out of this. We aren’t litigating our way out of it either. A hundred and sixty three years ago, we set about trying to fight our way out of similar circumstances. That didn’t turn out too well, did it? People like f’n Homer Simpson are still crowing about the government’s glorious success against the people. We managed it in 1776, but mainly due to the fact the the “government” was an ocean away, and we had a hell of a lot more backbone then.

“Prepare for another revolution?”...and who will be revolting?? Not most Americans. Life is good for them, they have other worries besides politics, and frankly most people have the attitude that it’s somebody else’s problem.

How many people do you honestly know who are willing to live on the run, constant paranoia?? And that’s only part of what would be going on for anyone or any group to try and start a revolution. Oh sure revolution sounds good on paper...but in reality it won’t happen unless a very large percentage of the population is harmed. And right now this is all politics for many people and does not come close to mobilizing folks to revolt.

I for one won’t back some kook trying to start a revolution unless there was no alternative....and at this point we haven’t reached the point of no return...yet.

Absolutely dead nuts, spot on accurate. Well done and well said.

Worthy of repeating and re-posting.

The corrupt, illegal voting procedures WERE challenged before the election ... the courts in which the challenges were raised ignored or rejected the challenges.

Every.

Single.

Time.

According to our corrupt courts, nobody has standing to challenge illegal election procedures before the election, because the election hasn’t happened yet and nobody has been harmed.

According to our corrupt courts, nobody has standing to challenge illegal election procedures after the election, because the election has already occurred and the point is moot.

“We must keep moving forward.”

We keep taking this s$%t and we’re going to move forward right into the gulag.

Hmmm... “Forward”... where have I heard this slogan before?

The Lt is always wrong. I was going to tune him up on this one but lost interest.

What I am seeing as a repeat offender, both here and in many many other venues and cases, is this concept that nothing is actionable until there has been harm.

I think that standard is pure, unadulterated BS.

When an officer of the law sees an armed individual aiming his weapon at another individual, that officer is not required to wait for harm to occur before taking his service weapon, and neutralizing the armed assailant.

So how is it that the courts have adopted this stupidity that they cannot act until there has been harm? This is perverse!

Manifestly there are myriad cases where the courts, as matter of ethics, and morality absolutely should, and must, act before there is harm. Manifestly the failure of Courts to act absent harm has directly resulted in untold numbers of harms. But they can’t be sued for it. They can’t be held accountable for it. So they don’t have to care about changing it.

You want to talk about “the root of all evil,” so far as our legal system is concerned, I think what I’m outlining here is the beating heart of it.

When it is observed that harm is imminent, it is the ethical, moral, and righteous duty of anyone with the power to avert it to step in and do so. Our courts do not operate that way, and because they do not operate that way, they neither serve ethics, nor morality, nor righteousness in any sense.

Our legal system is FUBAR!

Agree. Well said.

I would add that some of our judges are cowards, and some of them are evil and corrupt. Have we any that are righteous?

The impeachments hurt Trump and the MAGA agenda.

Do you want any Democratic official to have this power?

Do you actually think they don't have it already?
