MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow said Friday on “The ReidOut” that the Republican Party wants to “go back to the good old days where everybody was the same color.”
Discussing Donald Trump, Elon Musk and Kanye West, Maddow said, “A certain proportion of the American public likes this stuff and falls for it over and over again and discovers it anew, the same way every new generation believes they discovered sex. Every new generation of Americans believes they have discovered this efficient wave of the future where slow, boring democracy lets all the wrong people have decision-making power instead will be replaced with this efficient leadership who makes everybody believe what we believe, and we go back to the good old days where everybody was the same color.”

Homogeneous American? Definitely. Shared values for sure! Same skin color? Who cares about that? Skin isn’t important. You can be a white, college “educated” rad fem and have less in common with me and American values/cultural norms than just about any minority. I’ll go so far to say I agree whites are the problem, progressive whites.

I think she means when 6 year olds could SAFELY ride the NY City subway every day.
Not the “same color” but “colorblind”. Skin pigmentation makes NO difference whatsoever to equal opportunity, and the surface “diversity” is probably the most meaningless form of all diversity on this country.
This nation was NEVER all of the “same color”. But it has become rather fashionable to designate and segregate along some very materialistic and shallow trait lines, that one or another of the various demographics has a “superiority”, or “inferiority” in regards to others.
Grow up, people. Childishness is not attractive, not even in children.
Let’s not kid ourselves. This issue isn’t about one color. It is about one God. The race baiting is only a symptom of a greater evil. Stir up racial hatred and division. Follow any and every path as far away from the God of creation. That is their goal. If you do not bow down and worship at the altars of their pagan gods they will destroy you and your family.
But immigrants aren’t the problem. There are many great immigrants who share our values. They want to come here, work hard, and assimilate into America.
There are others, of course, who don’t want to assimilate. Plus, there appear to be no effective controls over who comes. The border needs to be secured, illegals need to be sent home, birth right citizenship for illegals needs to be ended (not subject to the jurisdiction thereof), and immigration laws need reformed to favor the best and brightest immigrants.
Immigration is generally a good thing, but only when there are strict controls.

Maddow is a total idiot. When were people ever the same color? Most of the world’s population is Asian. There are billions of black people. Is she f888in insane?

The problem in the U.S. isn’t discrimination, it is forced integration. The US overlords dump foreigners in desired counties for multiple reasons. When it is noticed, the U.S. overlords, via their mouthpieces, employ the guilt trip. The power of the guilt trip is waning as the results of tolerating this is obvious.
