Last Tuesday, President Trump had lunch with hip-hop mogul Kanye West. That might have produced headlines on its own, but it wasn’t enough. West brought along with him alleged white supremacist and anti-Semite Nick Fuentes and now-I’m-gay-now-I’m-not provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos. Former Trump campaign staffer Karen Giorno provided the transportation.

From Trump tonight:
@realDonaldTrump
13h
The story in AP, written by the untalented and very unreliable Jill Colvin, who I unfortunately got to know at the White House, is Fake News. We have very strong security, especially with the extremely talented Secret Service Agents on premises, but when I know someone, as I did Ye, we’re not going to have my guests strip searched, thrown against walls, and otherwise physically beaten. The anonymous sources don’t exist. Stories to the contrary are FAKE NEWS!
Yeah, but Ye/Kanye is pretty anti-semitic, and unhinged, and his companions were a**holes too. Trump, should have been more careful.
Last I heard (a year ago or more?) Milo was, supposedly, becoming a trad/conservative Catholic.
Sounds like he is still a narcissistic homo.
Ugh, Jill Colvin.
(This thread is worthless with pix.)
“Former Trump campaign staffer Karen Giorno provided the transportation.”
Why did you do that, Karen?
Maybe Trump is starting to realize that his (lack of) judgement about people (too many examples to list) hurt him, as I read he’s put a vetting process in place. No one is going to get strip searched, but with luck this will be the last time he gets set up. By primary time no one will remember this incident.
Once a Karen, always a Karen.
>Ye is a nutcase.
Literal nutcase. The guy is bipolar, I believe.
In the future, that Kayne/Fuentes/Milo lunch with Trump may be better known as The Last Supper.
I hope to be wrong about that, but this event made Trump look naive and inept, or at very least, disconnected from how most people see things. Let’s just say it, he was ambushed.
Trump did some wonderful things for America while he was president, but he is only human. We all get worn down over time. The Chinese used to have such a technique called Water Torture.
Unending impeachments, however vaccuous, unending media lying by televised professionals who don’t get in trouble for it, but are praised for their ‘resistance’.
Unending petty, snippy, ignorant, bitchy biases and intolerances seen in most public schools. All of that wears a president down, throws his timing off. Makes him desperate for any of the friendships he used to have in the entertainment world.
We are beginning to see the aftermath of this long gauntlet of mistreatment.
Kanye just got banned from twitter for posting a star of David with the middle lines formed into a swastika. Safe to say Ye has crossed over to hard core antisemite. Mental illness is sad, but doesn’t excuse his actions. Musk is trying to walk a fine line between allowing free speech and making Twitter a profitable business. Providing a refuge for hate is not profitable but people are going to intentionally push boundaries to undermine the platform.
If you are referring to Milo’s statement about his own personal history as an adolescent which was spun by antigays and the Left as supporting child molestation that’s not what he was saying. People reacted to the spin and it ended his career as a Right leaning provocateur and pundit. No idea what he’s been saying or doing since. I forgot all about him until this Trump dinner fiasco. Trump can’t even tell when he’s being trolled. It’s sad.
We can be thankful for Trump while acknowledging that a series of bad decisions opened up a lot of opportunities for the communists to damage him. Maybe he still has enough to win the primary, but I think that’s as far as it goes.
Twitter, like FR is a business. The idea that there is free speech on such platforms has been a weird political fantasy by some.
Load of tripe.
Yes it was planned - no, it’s not affecting Trump.
If anything it’s destroying Kanye.
Yep, I can attend the church I want, associate with the people I want to and speak critically of the state. But no one is obligated to provide me a platform to do any of those things.
