A reparations committee in California has suggested that descendants of slaves in the state should be compensated $223,200 each for 'housing discrimination'.
The nine-member Reparations Task Force was formed by California Governor Gavin Newsom as part of the country's largest ever effort to address reparations for slavery.
A focus of the California task force has been 'housing discrimination' - it has estimated the 2.5 million Black Californians require compensation of around $569billion, according to the New York Times.

So what will California legal majority citizen voters decide on reparations?

How black do I have to be? I have about 3% Senegalese which on the west coast of Africa was a major source of enslaved people. If DNA testing is not enough I have to get started on Ancestry.com so I can prove it.
Do they have to descend from slaves who lived in California when enslaved?
Do they have to have been American slaves, or will any slave in the ancestry suffice?
Is having black African ancestry presumptive proof of an enslaved ancestor?
Is this a one time deal, or will descendants who have not yet been born be eligible? Will this continue in perpetuity?
Somebody is going to realize, at some point, that the only final resolution to this problem is to have no one around to ask for reparations.
I am not advocating this solution, but once it starts, it will snowball and be very, very ugly.
Do these pushing for reparations not understand that the people they wish to fleece are heavily armed?
Even worse sometimes they don't say what it means so lower courts get to decide.
Soon, they’ll be bragging about the “bi-partisan reparations bill” they so valiantly passed. The Republicans will be afraid to vote against it, and the Dems count on that.
Don't need to, if you can fix elections you are home free.
