Ukraine has hit back at a claim by the European Commission's president that 100,000 of Kyiv's troops have been killed since Russia's invasion in February
Ursula von der Leyen used the number in a video address, prompting Kyiv's armed forces to state that the death toll was "classified information." Footage of her speech has since been edited to cut the reference.
In Russia, the state-owned news agency Tass was among the media outlets to seize on the high figure and to say the European Commission had "removed information about 100,000 dead Ukrainian servicemen.

All we can rely upon is what is and has been thrown out via media and social media sources.
Objectively, yes, agreed, no one will know till the war/conflict ends and a true and accurate tally can be done/taken.
It will probably be like the Iran-Iraq War of the 80’s. We may never know how many died on either side.
After the Soviet Union Collapsed, their total dead from WWII was finally revealed to be waaay worse than they admitted to and that was terrible numbers.
Battlefield losses matter little to both sides- they will never be disclosed. What matters is facts: Ukraine is de- energized, de- industrialized, and sitting in the dark. Their currency, economy, manufacturing, exports, infrastructure is crippled to say the least- 6 million more fleeing ( depopulation) the cold, NOT winning… a welfare nation, but the war cheerleaders somehow paint a picture of winning…

No Truth Here. Both sides tell fibs when it comes to the body bag count. We kill lots of the enemy and lose almost none of our people. Its all a lie. War is Hell. This war will only get worse and more and more people see its not the way we are being told. Only history will tell the truth in 10 to 20 years. How will we know the truth (yes we will) —when ONE side Wins and the Other LOSES. Possible ends? 1) Mr. Zelenskyy is forced to flee and a new Government makes a deal with Putin, loses land but gets new trade deals with Russia and keeps Odessa. 2)Putin is deposed and a new leader calls for a cease fire, They keep Crimea but must leave the rest of Ukraine. 3) NATO enters the fight and a full land war erupts in Eastern Europe in a fight to the death. that will A) see Moscow Fall and face occupation and rip off of natural resources. or B) Paris Falls and faces occupation by Russia and a “re-Christianization” of Europe. We shall see.
Ukes have lost a lot of men because of they way they fight. 100,000 is probably true and not a gaffe.
Support for this war is waning in Europe. Anti American sentiment is rising.

The Russia military has shown they do not care about losses, they will throw any warm body they can get into the meat grider if the Kremlin thinks they will ultimately win. The Russian MOD and Russian shills like Douglas Macgregor have put Ukrainian losses so high since April, Ukraine would have lost by May if they were half accurate. The Russian claims on Ukraine's losses makes the US kill counts during Vietnam look good.
Freeper Speedy in Texas has his daily posting of Oryx estimates of Russian and Ukrainian losses. Throughout the conflict Oryx has consistently reported Russia having much higher equipment losses. Assuming that casualties losses are proportional, then Russia is having higher causalities whatever the real numbers are.

No gaffe, fact. General Wesley Clark and others have stated the 100,000 Ukie KIA are accurate- the shame is the EU Commision DELETED her remarks from her speech….cover up- as I have stated numerous times, when do people heed Trump’s warning about a corrupted western media?
