Ukrainian forces struck a power plant in multiple attacks on Russia’s Kursk region on Tuesday, causing some electricity outages, a local governor said.

“In total, there were about 11 launches. A power plant was hit,” Roman Starovoyt, the governor of the Kursk region, said on the Telegram messaging app.

“Because of this, there are partial power outages in the Sudzha and Korenevo districts.” The districts are part of Russia’s Kursk region and sit over Ukraine’s northeast border.

There was no immediate information on possible injured or casualties, he added.

Thanks for that, interesting how few people seem to know the history of Russia and Nazi Germany. Yes Russia was in cahoots with Germany. Besides the agreement meant to split Poland and take Lithuanian Estonia and Latvia Russia also allowed Germany to practice their blitzkrieg tactics on Russian soil in violation of treaty agreements after ww1. I recall one particular event where Russians were invited to inspect German armor and equipment, and the main takeaway was the Russians thought the Germans were hiding their big stuff. The Russians were building massive tanks like the KV1 because they thought the Germans were too The Panzer 1,2, and 3 didn’t impress them much and the talk of bigger tanks freaked the Germans out.
The idea that the Russians and later soviets were some kind of knights in shining armor has always baffled me, but then again the left revers them so I guess that makes sense. If the Soviet Union was not the epitome of fascism I don’t know what was. And their crimes against humanity esp the Ukrainians make the nazis look like amateurs

Do you know thst at least 1,700 Polish were killed since February?

Once again you have revealed that you are a non-native speaker of English. "Polish" is an adjective; the noun for the nationality is "Poles." BTW, how is the weather in Moscow?

So the Russian use of Ukraine cites to “host” Russian forces is not using human shields on second thought you are correct the Russians couldn’t give two shakes when it comes to civilian casualties not to mention mobiks

A great deal of Russians don’t like Putin, some outright hate him. How is it related to a topic?

Lol nice personal yet unsubstantiated attack on the questioner. Matters not to you but born and raised in America going on 61 years with almost 40 years military service, but most of all I like what you did there attack me rather than provide proof of your claim of 1700 “Poles” killed

FTA: In total, there were about 11 launches.

No claims that Russia shot down any of the "launches". I wonder why that is.

What was "Launched":

Turkish TB-2s firing missiles?

Kamikaze drones?

Long Range Artillery Rockets?

Cruise Missiles?

Perhaps Small Diameter Bombs...several articles have been posted about rocket assisted SDBs.

This is where I find you people to be insufferable! As if the Ukrainians have no right to defend their country and their cities against Russian invaders!!!
