Ukrainian forces struck a power plant in multiple attacks on Russia’s Kursk region on Tuesday, causing some electricity outages, a local governor said.

“In total, there were about 11 launches. A power plant was hit,” Roman Starovoyt, the governor of the Kursk region, said on the Telegram messaging app.

“Because of this, there are partial power outages in the Sudzha and Korenevo districts.” The districts are part of Russia’s Kursk region and sit over Ukraine’s northeast border.

There was no immediate information on possible injured or casualties, he added.

Supporting the military machine is not supporting Ukraine. Lots of our weapons are being sold on the black market.
What humanitarian aid have we given to Ukraine?

Holodomor 2.0

Freezing them this time instead of starving them.

The Russian campaign is very balanced and focused on inflicting the least collateral damage so far.

Try to convince the people who lived in Mariupol of the Russian’s “inflicting the least collateral damage so far”.

The BS is deep with you this morning.

The criminal approach of the “defenders” is the main contributor. It is well documented that the Nazis blocked the population from leaving the city and used houses and hospitals as fortifications with people still inside. According to the Geneva Conventions the attacking side is not responsible for the damage in this case.
Although this negative experience is likely behind the Russian decision to abandon the sieges of Kiev, Kharkov and Nikolayev - seems pretty humane to me.

Sure, some nations supplying weapons to either side of this conflict should think about it.

Washington Post

Russia has killed civilians in Ukraine. Kyiv’s defense tactics add to the danger.

“Increasingly, Ukrainians are confronting an uncomfortable truth: The military’s understandable impulse to defend against Russian attacks could be putting civilians in the crosshairs. Virtually every neighborhood in most cities has become militarized, some more than others, making them potential targets for Russian forces trying to take out Ukrainian defenses.”

Ukraine early on became evil amd started using human shields...their own people.

Salon

“most American politicians and corporate media have fallen in line with a one-sided narrative that paints Russia as the aggressor in Ukraine, and support sending more and more weapons to Ukrainian government forces. After decades of U.S. military disasters based on such one-sided narratives, Americans should know better by now. But what are our leaders and the corporate media not telling us this time?

The most critical events that have been airbrushed out of the West’s political narrative are the violation of agreements made by Western leaders at the end of the Cold War not to expand NATO into Eastern Europe, and the U.S.-backed coup in Ukraine in February 2014. Western mainstream media accounts date the crisis in Ukraine back to Russia’s 2014 reintegration of Crimea, and the decision by ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine to secede from Ukraine as the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. ...”

Also from Salon: “Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and U.S. ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt mentioned Tyahnybok as one of the leaders they were working with in their infamous leaked phone call..” And...

Russia has a last laugh as West-supplied Howitzers are breaking down in Ukraine - report

https://youtu.be/kVhs_WJUSuM

Ukraine is facing technical problems with western artillery amid war with Russia. According to New York Times, one-third of the howitzers sent to Ukraine have developed snags. A U.S. official said that a third of the 350 howitzers sent by the west to Ukraine are out of action. The New York Times reported that the United States Department of Defense is concerned over the development. The U.S. reportedly set up a repair facility in Poland to fix “faulty” weapons, the NYT reported.

US falls short on weapons, will not divert exports from South Korea

https://youtu.be/cjPxraf8Hmg

“The war in Ukraine has now lasted for almost 10 months. The Western allies remember before the beginning of the war simply had not anticipated the scale of this conflict but today it is the primary cause of domestic and international wars.”

U.S. looks to supply older and cheaper weapons to Ukraine.

NATO plans on restarting old weapons factories to boost prouction.

Ukraine is firing 7k rounds per day of which the U.S. only produces 15k per month.

Nosewanking The only thing they are going to reach by this stupidity is to make Russia reconsider vacating the Harkov oblast.

sorry Nosewanking - you Russians didn't "vacate" Kharkiv - you were chased out

It wasn't even a Russian organized retreat, but a rout from Kharkiv
