The government of the United States of America.... the democratic party ... which has been surrendered to the pit of hell and its keeper... are doing things I never imagined this country would tolerate... everything the dems are in is illegal on earth and in heaven. controlled by the evil they live in..
What is not known by the public is worse than you can imagine.

Parents with no sense and their children being abused by evil and by doctors... sense has disappeared... Using children to see if they can turn a boy into a girl and vise versa... to even think it can be done and be normal is off the wall dumb!

Where in the world are we?!

“ Thomas’s comments were similar to Linda Grahamnesty’s.”

Yes, except that Lindsey was actively trying to sabotage the GOP’s prospects in the recent election. He was seeking a political consequence - and he succeeded, the GOP failed to win the Senate.

Justice Thomas, in contrast, was writing his principled opinion - without regard for the political consequences. He was principled, but not prudent.

The point is to force people of faith to honor, celebrate, participate in, and even pay for the sexual fantasies of the crotch obsessed lgbtqxyz droolers.

“ Word is this is so the IRS can ya k the tax exempt status of Christian churches.”

Yes, that looks like the goal. Mitch and the GOP Senators let it happen

I'm making fun of the Senate clowns like Shecky Choomer, who couldn't pass up an opportunity to smear his Republican opponents.

And I agree - Chuck Schumer IS an idiot.

He and his Democrat pals think that Justice Thomas is Clayton Bigsby.

This legislation got the backing of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Orthodox Union which is the more “moderate” faction of Orthodox Judaism.

The Jewish religious parties in Israel that now control 32 of 120 parliament seats in a proportional electoral system would simply call this legislation:

“Dreck”

if they had it before them.

I don’t have the whole list here Joni Ernst is one of them from Iowa.

Roy Blunt from Missouri the lame duck and lets never forget Lisa Murkowski and then there’s Cynthis Lummis from Wyoming and Shelley Moore Capito from West Virginia.

That’s four of this group of 12.

Not sure how you figure that. I read it, and 28 U.S.C Section 1738C (a) only permits a private right of action against individuals acting under color of state law, i.e., the government. I don't even see how it would be possible to violate it unless you are the government.

What specific provision do you think would enable lawsuits against those you mentioned?

They lumped interracial marriage - which has never been in question — with homosexual marriage so anyone opposing on the grounds of a traditional view of marriage is not just a homophobe but a pre civil rights era racist/segregationist as well. And of course a handful of Republicans had to jump in to show they are not.

If the Mormon majority in Utah recognizes polygamy as legel, do all the other states have to honor plural marriages?

Look up the Supreme Court decision that allowed IRS to strip Oral Robert’s U of its tax exempt status because it prohibited interracial dating. The decision relied on the fact Congress had passed national laws against racial discrimination.

So now, with a congressional law affirming same sex marriage, the ground is set for lawsuits against the tax exemptions for churches, schools , adoption orgs, etc if they don’t also affirm same Sec marriage.
