TRUMP GETS PLAYED. What is sure to be one of the weirder moments of the 2024 presidential campaign has just taken place before the campaign is even fully underway.
Here is the short version: Just before Thanksgiving, former President Donald Trump had dinner at Mar-a-Lago with Kanye West, Nick Fuentes, and Milo Yiannopoulos. West is the famous rapper, businessman, and reported bipolar disorder patient who says he will run for president in 2024, a campaign he began last month by announcing on Twitter that he was "going death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE," a threat that brought him widespread condemnation and the loss of lucrative contracts. Fuentes, who many readers might not have heard of, is a 24-year-old white nationalist self-promoter who has sought publicity and online donations with a long series of racist and antisemitic statements and is now, apparently, working for West's so-called campaign. Yiannopoulos is a 38-year-old British provocateur who has spent a good part of his life doing the same sort of thing that Fuentes does and is now apparently also working for YE24, which is how West, who wants to be known simply as "Ye," refers to his presidential campaign.
What do they have in common? Well, Fuentes and Yiannopoulos are joined in a quest to exploit West's money and fame. But as far as politics is concerned, the greater similarity is that they are all lowlifes who should never be allowed near a former president of the United States, much less a current candidate for president. And yet Trump shared a table at Mar-a-Lago with them. The event quickly leaked because that is precisely what West, Fuentes, and Yiannopoulos intended. The usual suspects in the media and political world immediately denounced Trump.

Just seeing if there are limits on making excuses for Trump
He's apparently someone who is sick of the left. I think Trump subscribes to the notion that the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
“I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?” he said, referring to the major street in New York City that cuts through Manhattan’s large commercial district. “It’s, like, incredible.”

Nobody cares about this. The left and their media masters hyperventilate about everything Trump and people either hate him because of it or they just dismiss the narrative because we have had 6 constant years of it.
Trump did not know this guy and did not invite him so who cares?
There will be many more incidents they hyperventilate about in the future. At this point its all baked into the cake for all but a few percentage points of the electorate.

Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was asking me for advice concerning some of his difficulties, in particular having to do with his business. We also discussed, to a lesser extent, politics, where I told him he should definitely not run for President, “any voters you may have should vote for TRUMP.” Anyway, we got along great, he expressed no anti-Semitism, & I appreciated all of the nice things he said about me on “Tucker Carlson.” Why wouldn’t I agree to meet? Also, I didn’t know Nick Fuentes.

Now the difference is Trump is an announced candidate. Agreeing to meet with Ye is stupid. He has nothing to contribute. Meeting with the others, even if unannounced until their arrival, is even more crazy. Trump’s entourage surely give him a quick rundown before they were given access. If they didn’t, then once again, Trump has surrounded himself with poor choices. (And why does that keep happening?)
Whatever the script calls for, he’s toxic waste.
A phone call would have done it. After all the crap coming down about Ye, this was simply a stupid move.
Would you let George Soros stop by? Ye is the same type of kryptonite.
Then they left for the airport? Must be a hidden meaning for my ilk.
