Remind me what cabal rules Houston?
It’s after 11 CST.
Do you know where your jihadists are?
Municipal water systems have become the latest cash cow for crooked politicians in democrat ran cities. I’m from Mississippi and Jackson’s water system has been in the news lately because it’s been essentially non-functional for several years. Jackson has been given tens of millions of dollars to fix their system but the democrat politicians take it out the back door as soon as it comes in the front. The “contractors” they hire to do studies and repairs are all their relatives or girlfriends. I’m sure much of the same is going on in Houston.
As those that “can” retire or are replaced with diversity candidates, we can expect more systems to fail. There is more to managing and maintaining critical infrastructures than completing the diversity check-lists for HR. Someone has to know when and what repairs are needed and have the ability to do the regular maintenance on these systems.
Ahh, Houston. Texas’s anus.
While our infrastructure collapses, the white house is busy sending billions to Ukraine.
America Last Biden is leading us to third world status.
It will only get worse from here under these losers.
Houston voted Lina Hidalgo back in— a lemonade stand would probably be problematic for them.
Ain’t any better in San Antonio.
I guess decent water is just another thing that is too much
to ask from a Democrat administration in a large city.
Darn that Trump. Don’t vote for any Republicans!
Well the title of the article is better then the foxnews clickbait
“2 million ordered to boil water in this major city”
All that boiled water can only mean one thing.
They’re all pregnant.
Classic government: “We think your water is perfectly safe, but we’re required to tell you to boil it first.”
The fruits of Democrats.
It takes time for the Houston kakistocracy to CYA their malfeasance, misfeasance, and nonfeasance. .
Won’t boiling all that water contribute significantly to global warming / climate change?
What to do?
What to do?
What to do!

The state (TCEQ) apparently oversees the city and mandates a boil water order. They also apparently then approve plans for testing and for certifying that conditions are correct for removing an order once one has been issued.
The event took place at 10:30 AM, and they don’t issue the notice until almost 7:00 PM, 8-1/2 hours later?
We didn’t get an email notice of the problem from the city until 10:31 PM.
When you watch this interview with the city’s water director, it doesn’t exactly inspire confidence:
