In a huge setback to Ukraine's fight against the Russian offensive, most NATO members have run out of weapons.
According to a report published in the New York Times, at least 20 of the alliance's 30 members are "pretty tapped out."
A NATO official also said that smaller countries have exhausted their potential.
Even the U.S. military is rushing to replenish the arms stock it has supplied to Kyiv.

“No problem. We all know defense of the nation is about 4th or 5th on the Pentagon’s list of priorities”.
Defending and advancing the agenda of The Liberal New World Order is the Pentagon’s top priority.
The problem for NATO is that when they end a production run of hardware, they SHUT IT ALL DOWN as fast and as thoroughly as possible, with complete disregard for spending just a few dollars to keep critical items (such as tooling and cheap, but critical parts, in storage) and a few key people around. That also includes the people who worked on these programs, who are off into the wind, usually with other companies, if not other careers.
So, when it comes to restarting production for NATO, it’s like starting from scratch, new people, new tooling needed, new procedures, new suppliers, etc. So, 3 to 5 years to get production up to useful levels.
NATO can thank our top-notch, high-power, MBAs for this disaster.
I’d like to think that NATO is learning a HUGE LESSON from this war - but no, when our countries are run by people who hate the military and have been anti-war (except for Russia) all their lives...nothing will change.
Needless to say, Russia has been through enough in their history so as to not be so complacent.
“Hindustan Times” sounds like another lying Russian propaganda front
noted
“Footage circulated on social media appears to depict the moments before nearly a dozen Russian soldiers were shot after surrendering, raising accusations of war crimes by both Ukrainian and Russian officials.”
By their SHEER SILENCE, I have yet to hear the Neocon-supporters say they have a problem with this.
Maybe the will at some point, but then again, they are Russians being massacred...
China’s CCP has to be pretty excited about this...
““Hindustan Times” sounds like another lying Russian propaganda front”
Before making a fool of yourself, yet again, perhaps 2 minutes of research?
“Hindustan Times is one of the largest newspapers in India by circulation.”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindustan_Times
from your link -
“The Russo-Ukrainian War and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022 have subsequently seen many articles published by the Hindustan Times which show clear support for Russian armed forces. Some articles, titled in ways that often devalue the Ukrainians while otherwise praising the Russians, represent India’s political stance which is predominantly pro-Russian.”
so I was basically correct
“so I was basically correct”
Nice try, but this was a major newspaper LONG BEFORE the Ukraine War.
So much more likely that India, being NEUTRAL in this war is actually interested in factual reporting, rather than simply enriching the Neocons by trying to get even more money dumped in Ukraine. Not to mention that the NEW YORK TIMES (the Neocon bible) has reported the same.
But hat tip for trying!!!
so it’s a major Indian paper that pushes Russian propaganda
got it, and noted for future reference
“so it’s a major Indian paper that pushes Russian propaganda”
Are you drunk? I said they are NEUTRAL, like their government. Not to mention that the NEW YORK TIMES is saying the same (and they do publish in English, in case you were wondering).
Putin’s purpose of the war is paying dividends.
I guess, to them, only Russians can commit war crimes.
And if they say “Russia invaded Ukraine” are they then ready to bring up on war crimes charges every leader who has invaded another nation?
Talk about a can of worms they would be opening...
And no doubt quite a few of the same so-called great military leaders in charge during the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle are giving their 2 cents now on Ukraine.
The USA has so far provided $19.7 Billion in military assistance to Ukraine, since the war started in February (including this week’s $400 Million package).
The FY22 Defense budget was $777.7 Billion, so it amounts to about 2.5% of that, but the $19.7 Billion in expenditures was spread across the FY22 and FY23 budgets, so we are running a bit below 2.5% of our annual defense budget to support Ukraine in this war.
Economic/humanitarian aid has been roughly an equivalent amount in dollars, but out of a much larger (~$5.5 Trillion) non-Defense budget, or about 1/4 of one percent.
Another year like that this last one (six months, actually) will effectively demilitarize Russia of its conventional arsenal left over from the Soviet Union. They are roughly half depleted, on average now.
no, they’re not neutral
they push the Russian talking points
this article is also amateurish ... no writer named, only 2 sentences long, and the “source” is a YouTube video
hard to take these clowns seriously
Xi has been in the catbird seat since March.
In other words, we are going to pay through the nose to warp speed the replacement of all those stingers we wasted. I want to see the General Dynamics contract with NATO to defend the relatively unarmed new 800 mile long NATO/Russian Finnish frontier. After 20 years of making the ME safe for Raytheon, we now take the generational show to Eastern Europe.
“no, they’re not neutral
they push the Russian talking points”
Well that’s a new one: THE NEW YORK TIMES PUSHES RUSSIAN TALKING POINTS
...according to our ‘friend’ in the North (since all this article does is reference the NY Times report).
