Hutchinson calls Trump meeting with Nick Fuentes ‘very troubling’

Share Tweet ... More Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R), who is considering challenging former President Trump for the White House in 2024, called Trump’s recent dinner with white nationalist Nick Fuentes “very troubling” on Sunday.

During an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” with co-anchor Dana Bash, Hutchinson criticized the former president after he acknowledged dining with Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, and Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago.

Don't you remember the days when anyone who went to Bob Jones University was called a religious fundamentalist extremist?

I'm sure you didn't appreciate the guilt-by-association back then, so why are you engaging in that very tactic today?

Drama made up by political opponents is not going to stop. I'll bet a few hours of opposition research would find that Hutchinson has dined with more than one criminal, white supremacist, or KKK member and probably some woman who is not his wife.

That doesn't mean he is a criminal, agrees with the views of the people at the same dinner table, or necessarily cheated on his wife.

The same is true about President Trump. The question to ask is why do the media and the RINOs think it is so important to manufacture lies and drama about Trump?

Hard to disagree with that sentiment...unforced error by Trump.

You accepted the characterization of Fuentes and Ye created by the main stream media. And you are repeating their attack.

Many of the very people making those attacks have supported Ye, bought his clothes, and went out of their way to try to associate with him. So based on their own characterization they were associating with an anti-semite. His ideas didn't just arrive one day, we are seeing some attempt to sideline him now. Before large corporations and people like Barack Obama had no problem with Kanye although he very likely believed then what he believes now.
