Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt said Friday that during his seven-hour deposition with Dr. Anthony Fauci, new information revealed that two months after Fauci told a friend masks were "ineffective," he supported mask mandates.
On Friday, the Show-Me State Republican attorney general tweeted a "tidbit" from his deposition with the outgoing head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases:
"Another tidbit from Fauci depo: In Feb ‘20 he emailed a friend advising her masks were ineffective. Confirmed again on Mar 31. On Apr 3 he’s adamant masks should be worn even though he couldn’t cite a single study to prove it. Mandates followed—Lives ruined."
"COVID tyranny is born," Schmitt continued.
On Wednesday, Schmitt and his counterpart, Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, questioned Biden's chief medical adviser under oath for his alleged role in colluding with Big Tech to control communication about COVID-19 as part of the duo's lawsuit.
Schmitt and Landry filed the lawsuit in May, accusing top-ranking government officials of working with the giant social media companies Meta [Facebook], Twitter and YouTube "under the guise of combating misinformation" in order to achieve greater censorship.
They are seeking to prove that Fauci worked with Facebook and others to tamp down talk that the virus originated in a lab in Wuhan, China.
"Defendant Dr. Anthony Fauci, a senior federal government official, coordinating with others, orchestrated a campaign to discredit the lab-leak hypothesis in early 2020," Landry and Schmitt said in their brief. "As director of [National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases], Dr. Fauci had funded risky 'gain-of-function' research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology through intermediaries such as EcoHealth Alliance, headed by Dr. Peter Daszak."

Its not surprising
March 2020 in a tv interview he stated clearly “masks don’t work, they just make peoplel feel better”
Then by August 2020, “masks should be mandatory”
But no one believed the logic of why they did not. Virus passed right through masks people kept wearing the same mask over and over blah blah blah. I said it years now.
Fauci said this himself in a major interview. In February 2020, masks being ineffective and you were selfish if you wore them was the dominant media narrative - wall to wall coverage on all major media - only wear them if you are actually sick. March 2020, exactly the opposite - they were effective, and you were selfish if you did *not* wear them.

And you have been right, years now. It’s like trying to stop a mosquito, with a chain link fence.
The science is settled and Fauxi IS the science
Fauxi owes the taxpayers for every penny the government spent on masks, as well as every penny individuals spent.
Everybody knew this goof ball was a fraud the day he threw the pitch at the Nationals-Yankees game with a mask on, then sat side-by-side with his wife, and a friend without a mask in a nearly empty stadium. What a putz.

A very long history of voluntary mask-wearing especially during winter/influenza, SARS, bird flu hay fever etc season. No big deal —- you see it everywhere, especially packed trains So the transition here was seamless during C-19. It was not a new experience to freak people out, panic or anger them. Another thing is N-95s of others of high quality in wide use here, and hardly anyone wears them improperly (unless sauced salarymen at night coming home late). You’ll get your ass kicked if you sneeze on somebody lol
... and many years earlier when Fauci proclaimed that vaccines were never needed by those with natural immunity.
Duh.
They always knew this.
CoupFlu policy has NEVER been about public health anywhere on the planet.
Masks are designed to block bacteria escape, not viruses. Masks are not designed to be worn for more than one hour either, else the trapped bacteria becomes dangerous. Fauci knows this, but lies.
Not to mention that masks are fomites.
We all remember when he was against masks.
