Face masks are loosely fitted devices that
cannot avoid leakage around the mouth upon breathing. These are commonly made of single-layer fabrics including cotton, silk, chiffon, flannel, various synthetics, and their combinations; however, the efficiencies improved when multiple layers are used with a combination of fabrics.
