Fauci, when confronted with this statement, after his statement later recommending masks, then stated his original statement was to protect the supply of PPE. Now we find, no surprise, this statement was a lie. The original segment was the inconvenient truth; but Fauci knowing masks were useless for protect against a virus then pushed masks, likely because it made it look like the government was “doing something”, and weak people always expect the government to “do something”.
As a surgeon once put it to me: they wear surgical masks to keep them from hocking a loogie into a patient.

Watching Twitter Public Health ‘experts’ melt down over the last two days reminds me of a problem we used to have in aviation: unchecked authority & ego.
We worked VERY hard to get rid of it. Some may wish to take notes…a 🧵
I still occassionally see young women, twenty somethings, walking around with masks and bugged out expressions in the eyes. They are psychologically damaged for life. Younger kids might rebound, but they are physically screwed up now with frail immune systems.
At one point, he thought people should be double-maksed.
Long before it was even a media article like that. I’m an RN. We knew right away it was a farce.
