--- "Raytheon Technologies, in particular...."

Translation: military industrial complex is happy. Here and abroad, as one reads the European press too.

Add to this the worldwide mRNA industrial complex being very happy, and one sees why the "climate change" proponents and others are working to steadfastly to carve out their "fair share" of the public purse.

If a few economies have to die along the way, well, that's just collateral damage.

He was a man who knew the horrors of war, and he was right.

Since a big chunk of the story is about, uh, a German company expanding by buying a Spanish company ... I think they count as foreigners, no? Or do they all have honorary US passports somehow?

A matter of interest - I (a foreigner!) used to be a “road warrior” traveling to factory floors to all of the mentioned companies, @30 years ago (among many others in similar lines of work). Lockheed AND what was then Martin Marietta, and General Dynamics in Pomona, which was acquired by Raytheon. Because of all the post-”peace dividend” mergers into Lockheed and Raytheon I’m sure I’m leaving a bunch of others out.
