Kevin McCarthy’s War Against MAGA
Chronicles ^ | November 21, 2022 | Anthony Sabatini

Posted on 11/25/2022 9:14:07 AM PST by Dr. Franklin

McConnell’s sabotage of his own side in the Senate races won’t come as a surprise to most Republicans, but many are unaware that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy used similar tactics in several House races during the same period. McCarthy’s behavior is even worse than McConnell’s in light of the extremely underwhelming House election results. Although observers expected a “red wave” that would yield a strong Republican majority in the House, Republicans are likely to have just a five-vote advantage in the end.

...[t]he political machine around McCarthy directed millions to be spent against Republican candidates in GOP primaries associated with the America First movement. Yes, you read that correctly. McCarthy surrogates, including Amazon lobbyist Jeff Miller, directed four political action committees to attack key candidates to McCarthy’s right in primary elections around the country.

Here are just a few examples: $1.7 million against Freedom Caucus member Madison Cawthorn in NC-11; $2 million in WA-3 against Joe Kent, and $2 million to prop up Kent’s primary opponent; $1.5 million spent against Carl Paladino in NY-23; $1 million against Christian Collins in TX-8; at least $1 million against Karoline Leavitt in NH-1; various amounts against J. R. Majewski in OH-9 and David Giglio in CA-13; and finally, $1.5 million against me in FL-7, a safe Republican seat, where McCarthy surrogates ran false and negative ads through “American Liberty Action PAC,” one of the four McCarthy attack PACs controlled by his surrogates...

...McCarthy’s main focus was not always on defeating Democrats, but to safeguard himself against challenges to his leadership within the GOP from incoming America First candidates. It is hard to escape the conclusion that, had these resources been spent on helping instead of undermining anti-establishment Republican candidates, the GOP would have won a stronger hold over the House.

Maybe a new Romney/Ryan ticket will do the trick this time?

They'll push someone who is the same, regardless of the name. I'm not falling for their BS every again.

Actually, Trump was a private citizen. The party apparatus was controlled by Rona, McCarthy and McConnell, all three who sabotaged the candidates that private citizen endorsed.

I'll take "this guy is clueless" for 100.

Trump is the party leader. It doesn't matter if he is in office or out. He was party leader in 2016 before he was elected. So your argument holds no water.

Trump put Ronna McDaniel in as party chief and endorsed her strongly. Same with McCarthy.

With regard to McConnell, he put more money from his PAC into Trump endorsed senate candidates than Trump put into Trump endorsed senate candidates, despite Trump' PAC having raised more money.

FACTS are a stubborn thing.

Yea, I’m sure the same people who promised Any Minute Now to repeat Obamacare if they won the House (2012) ... no, really We’ll Do It if they win the Senate too (2014) ... well, For Sure Really if we get the Presidency too (2016) ... well no, sorry, Job One is Stopping Trump ...

Just because they are against Trump does not mean I must support Trump.

Trump is a 3-time loser. 2018, 2020, 2022. He is failed leader of the party at this time and has not adapted to voting by mail and ballot harvesting.

Democrats keep supporting 3-time losers, like Beto. We should not do the same.

These problems won’t be resolved until the DC Swamp is drained.

President Trump himself seems to be pleased with the job that Kevin McCarthy is doing.

Donald Trump endorses Kevin McCarthy for another term in Congress

Actually, Trump was a private citizen. The party apparatus was controlled by Rona, McCarthy and McConnell, all three who sabotaged the candidates that private citizen endorsed.

They wanted the loses. They wanted to pin the loses on Trump. And they wanted you to believe that Trump was responsible for the loses and not them.

And they wanted you to forget about the election fraud in 2020 and likely election fraud in 2022.

And they wanted you to ignore the millions of more votes for Trump in 2020 and the Republicans in the House in 2022.

And you fall for it.

Trump is the party leader. It doesn't matter if he is in office or out. He was party leader in 2016 before he was elected. So your argument holds no water.

No. Trump was party leader in 2016 AFTER he won the primaries and the nomination. He was was no longer the party leader when he left elected office. At that point he is a private citizen.

Trump put Ronna McDaniel in as party chief and endorsed her strongly. Same with McCarthy.

Trump tried to work with the establishment but they stabbed him in the back. So your solution is to ditch the only current candidate who isn't part of the Uniparty.

With regard to McConnell, he put more money from his PAC into Trump endorsed senate candidates than Trump put into Trump endorsed senate candidates, despite Trump' PAC having raised more money.

You're comparing apples and oranges. Trump is a private citizen. The three Mc's control the party. It was their job to fund the candidates and not to sabotage the candidates.

FACTS are a stubborn thing.

The facts remain as I've stated.

Trump, as a private citizen, endorsed Ronna McDaniel to be party leader.
Trump, as a private citizen, endorsed Kevin McCarthy to be speaker.

Trump tried to work with the establishment under Ryan. He didn’t learn his lesson.

So, you make my case that Trump should not be our candidate. He is not learning from his past mistakes.

You call Trump a 3x loser, yet complain about rigged elections, and voter suppression. Are you blaming Trump for the theft of the last two elections?

“A Convention of States could do that.”

That would involve people making decisions, some/most of them corrupt. A Convention easily could result in something much worse than our current one.

Your first post...

Your last post...

Lose the first part of your argument in your first post. It's not going to win you over anybody to your point of view. It's Uniparty propaganda.

If you want to make your case based solely on the second part of your argument, be my guest. Although I see no other potential candidate out there who isn't being pushed by the Uniparty.

Winners win. It’s that simple. Trump can not come through with a win. We lost the Senate because of his poor judgment. Rationalize it all you want. He can’t deliver a win when it really counts. And this last midterm really counted. The utility of a politician who can’t win elections is....zero.

Sorry that you do not like FACTS.

But Trump was great in 2016 and a great POTUS. He lost it in 2020, lost the Senate in the special election, blew 2022 and will blow the special election in Georgia again.

You can stick with your version of Beto the loser, but I moving on.

“They wanted the loses. They wanted to pin the loses on Trump. And they wanted you to believe that Trump was responsible for the loses and not them.”

And they want to keep it close so when they run they can say look you have to vote for the RINO because if you don’t the dems will take over. how Mitch and Lindseed keep getting elected.

Harry Reid had people in his party who hated him to the bone. So does Peolsi, McCarthy and countless pols. But they win when it counts. Trump can’t do that. He just can’t.

Did you really think one election was going to change everything. This a a long battle over many elections. the GOP didn’t win as much as some thought but there are wins. A bunch of RINOs lost in the primaries(or retired) a bunch more lost on election day. If MAGA stays together and keeps fighting the RINOs we can continue this trend but the swamp will fight back.

You posted propaganda, I responded with the facts, which you then ignored.

As I said,

I'm sorry that you ignore the facts.
