Trump-Backed Candidate In California Wins, Increasing Republican House Majority
American Lookout ^ | November 23, 2022 | Mike LaChance

Trump-backed Republican Kevin Kiley has won his House race, bringing the total of House Republicans to 220.

This is great news for conservatives.

Every new win just solidifies the majority a little bit more. Republicans have to take every win they can get.

The Washington Examiner reports:

Trump-backed Republican wins in California, boosting House majority to 220 seats

Republican Kevin Kiley defeated Democratic challenger Kermit Jones to win California’s 3rd Congressional seat, raising the GOP’s House majority to 220 seats.

Kiley won the race with 52.8% compared to Jones’s 47.2%, with 84% of the vote counted. The Republican announced on Twitter last week that he had won the race, claiming that his win secured a House majority for Republicans before it was officially called.

In another GOP win for California, Rep. David Valadao (R) will once again represent the state’s 22nd Congressional District after defeating Assemblyman Rudy Salas (D) on Monday night.

Three House races remain uncalled: California’s 13th Congressional District, Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, and Alaska’s at-large House seat.

Kiley, who was endorsed by Donald Trump, was one of the former president’s few successes in the 2022 midterm elections. Several Republican leaders, who were expecting a red wave, blamed Trump for their less-than-expected outcomes after the party failed to flip the Senate or win the House majority by as wide of a margin as projected.

The California Republican received a lot of support after targeting the country’s rising crime and inflation rates, a campaign platform used by many Republicans to sway voters.

If you were a politician and said this was unacceptable and introduced a change to the election laws that required an ID, outlawed universal mail in voting and limited the counting to 48 hours after the polls closed you would be labeled a racist, etc....

Nowadays, racist is a badge of courage in my eyes.

It essentially means merit based, intelligent, hard working, and educated.

I feel the same way, unfortunately we have very, very few politicians that are willing to stand up and call the election system in this country worse than 3rd world caliber.

Looking at the House of Representatives, the former president officially endorsed 174 of the 430 Republican candidates.

Of these 174 endorsements, 159, now 160, of Trump’s chosen candidates emerged victorious.

The 15, now 14, who did not win have been played up nonstop in the liar media, so much so one would be persuaded to think Trump’s endorsement was a kiss of death.

Stop using the number of winning candidates as proof of Trump's appeal. It's stupid. Those winning candidates were largely in deep red places. Republicans not endorsed by Trump would also have won there.

I'm guessing that the 15 or so losses were in purplish districts. Therefore, the losses logically are valid indicators of Trump's effect on the election. Those 15 losses may explain the Republican underperformance all by itself. In a "wave" election the winning party sweeps the purple Congressional districts, which didn't happen.

Over two weeks since the election and only 84% of the votes have been counted.

The I got talent show can count millions of votes during one commercial see how much time it takes the democrats to count.

I endorsed all the Republican incumbents. I have a 98%+ winning rate.

As if Trump only endorsed incumbents?

The word “RACIST” doesn’t mean crap anymore!

If EVERYTHING is “RACIST”, including the weather, then NOTHING IS RACIST!

To paraphrase the old Dr. PEPPER jingle;

I’M A RACIST,
HE’S A RACIST,
SHE’S A RACIST,
WOULDN’T YOU LIKE TO BE A RACIST TO!
