See inside DC townhouse linked to FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried

… Ahead of the epic downfall of his cryptocurrency exchange this month, the 30-year-old disgraced entrepreneur was associated with the purchase of a tony townhouse in the nation’s capital. The D.C. dwelling was bought by his brother Gabe Bankman-Fried’s nonprofit, Guarding Against Pandemics, which Sam partly funded, Realtor reported.

The April purchase of the $3.289 million townhouse was meant to show that “S.B.F. and his network were in D.C. to stay,” according to a piece by Puck. Shortly before FTX’s epic exposure and resulting collapse, the pandemic-preventing nonprofit reportedly hosted two back-to-back parties at the address, one for Democratic dignitaries and the other for Republican hotshots, both with a vegan-heavy menu.

All new and large business now must be a partnership with Washington DC and its corrupt players

A man of the people, who donated heavily to and was consequently beloved by the Democrats.

This is not complicated. They needed a place to coordinate the Ukrainian laundering of American tax dollars to the democrat party. SBF was raised by west-coast academic commie parents with a long history of bundling liberal political contributions from their pals in academia and elsewhere. This is going to make a great documentary someday. I just hope it ends with the principals behind bars.

Nice place. In DC, huge rats (quadrupeds) come out everywhere at night. One night, sitting on a table in Pershing Park (across from the Willard), there were so many rats scurrying around that it looked like waves of water flowing over the ground. I’m not one to get the heebie-jeebies, but this scene made me come pretty close.

Every inch of DC is a rat infested hell hole.

bought by his brothers “non-profit” for $3.3m - the vast majority of non-profits are scams, money-laundering, tax evading entities used to fund lifestyles of the “right” people.

That is an excellent observation. It is not far from Pelosi’s townhouse in Georgetown.

This little grifting wunderkind is really nothing more than a Billy McFarland (of Fyre Festival fame) who managed to parlay the grift into Billions because he didn’t sell tickets and packages to some ill-prepared backwater island location but to investors who thought this crypto thing is the wave of the future. It sucks to be them.

DC has many posh places.

‘Rats like Joe Biden know how to live a luxurious lifestyle.

The DC government is the biggest curse the ‘rats in DC face.

Most of DC should be given back to Maryland.

Perhaps the Republicans should try to do that, and the ‘rats would probably help.

And, I am thinking that FTX gets busted, now, because it protects the people at the top. They can still protect the FTX people from their loftier positions, but THEY will not be caught.

Questions are being asked as bankruptcy filings reveal
<><>FTX got federal approval to buy a stake in the Farmington mini bank.
<><>hard to believe regulators would have knowingly allowed the crypto firm to do so.

Is the wigged mad Maxine ..... FTX campaign funds taker......
banking committee chair.....in on it?

It is not far from Pelosi’s townhouse in Georgetown.

It's actually quite a way from Georgetown, in an opposite quadrant of the District, with main north-south traffic arteries in between.
