There is a difference between those who want a candidate to run, and the candidate's willingness to run for office. Desantis’s next best chance will be in 2028, not 2024. He is not going to oppose Trump in 2024.

A poll about a week ago of Texas GOP voters has DeSantis at 43% and Trump at 32%. DeSantis is a serious challenger to Trump if he gets in. No one else is. Trump knows this so he calls DeSantis “DeSanctimonious” and threatens to reveal dirt on him.

DeSantis just spoke in person to the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas. Campaigned in person for various congressional candidates. To me he acts like he’s running. We’ll see.

PACs are scams designed to channel money into the founder's pocket.
