“Is Hogan delusional? Or just a crook hoping to cash in on some Deep State GOPe donations and pocket the dough?”

As an escapee from MD, I’d have to say the answer is “Yes!”

If people outside of DC/MD/VA see his name on a ballot, the response will be, “Larry who?”

The way we're going, Gavin Newsom will be the next president, and Hunter Biden will be his vise....

Just ask Soros, he tell you... (spit)

DeSantis just spoke in person to the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas. Campaigned in person for various congressional candidates. To me he acts like he’s running. We’ll see.

DeSantis is keeping his visibility up, and takes to campaigning (and fundraising) naturally. That doesn't mean he is planning a run in 2024. A lot can happen in the next year. For instance, if Trump had a stroke (God Forbid!) someone would have to step up.

IF DeSantis decided to run this time, he would do best in a one-on-one (see Reagan/Ford 1976). He's not going to get the One-on-One. The Hogans, Hutchisons and others who are in for a vanity run, unrealistic self-perception of odds, angling for a VP spot, are going to take each percentage point, few as they are, out of DeSantis' hide out of RINO voters (think David Frum, Jennifer Rubin, David Brooks) who find DeSantis far too conservative.

IF Trump had a health episode (again, God Forbid!) Cruz would likely jump in. He isn't prepping for it, now. The beard and expanding girth tells me his heart isn't in it at the moment.

Christie as VP?

Two bloated RINO’s exceeding 600+ pounds.

Hogan will never see 8%.

1856 John C. Fremont Free Soil, Free Labor, Free Speech, Free Men, and Fremont
1860 Abraham Lincoln Vote Yourself a Farm
1864 Abraham Lincoln Don’t Swap Horses in the Middle of the Stream
1884 Grover Cleveland Blaine, Blaine, James G. Blaine, The Continental Liar from the State of Maine

White House, Ha, Ha, Ha
1888 Benjamin Harrison Rejuvenated Republicanism
1896 William McKinley Patriotism, Protection, and Prosperity
1896 William McKinley Good Money Never Made Times Hard

Hogan is delusional. He's running, well, for the bucks, but someone is pumping hot air into him overtime that he would be maybe #3 for VP on a Trump-less ticket.

If anything, Hogan will siphon off what little interest is split among Krispy, Mailman Jr., Lizard, and even Pompouspeo.

Can't resist the lure of free jets, free food (and Hogan's a feeder), tiny crowds, a little cable time, and a book deal.

He will get destroyed in the Iowa caucus. Curb-stomped by Trump. And that will be that.

Most of those were real slogans, but some of the others may not have been. Two misses on the website. They left out Jimmy Carter’s “Why Not the Best?” Which is just as well, considering how things turned out. And Obama’s poster said “Hope” but his slogan or mantra was “Hope and Change.” I was skeptical about “Rejuvenated Republicanism,” but yes, that was a slogan of the Harrison campaign.

Trump is not entitled to anyone's support. Like any other politician, he has to earn support. But the bottom line is, these are never-Trumpers trying yet again.

It’s the Internet so they were bound to get a couple wrong. A wonder more weren’t.

I remembered the Tippecanoe one and the Chicken in Every Pot. Slogans have been around forever, probably back in the Roman era as well.

That’s okay. Trump had a lot of competition in 2016. At least they thought they were his competition. He blew them all off the stage, and will do it again.

Yep. The "Not Trump" wing of the GOP will ensure Trump wins the primary by running a dozen mediocre candidates who all cancel each other out.

Unlike 2016 though, Trump will be soundly defeated in the general election.

2024 is shaping up to be a loss.

I would not want Hogan as the nominee even if I thought he was the only Republican who could win. He’d do lots of damage to the conservative cause.

"2024 is shaping up to be a loss."

That's a given if nothing is done about voter fraud.
