A Gallup poll reported Monday that support for stricter gun control fell from 66 percent in June to 57 percent near the end of October.
The poll was conducted October 3-20 via a random sampling of 1,009 American adults.
Gallup found 46 percent of Americans says there is a gun in their home or somewhere on their property while 33 percent said they “personally own a gun.”

They are still arguing for gun control, but I haven't heard that one in a while.
I think after the midterms, Americans have come to understand ballots don’t work anymore. There are too many of them out there floating around that screws up the chain of custody.
Probably also because these people no longer immediately believe legacy media’s claims about how gun control can effectively deal with the criminal and tragic (suicides and accidents and mass incidents) misuse of firearms.
That doesn’t surprise me. Given the high crime rates, I can see why gun sales are going up.

We already know that there are far more American firearms than there are Americans. What responsible gun owner would tell a random pollster “Yes, I own a gun”, or “Yes there is a gun in my house”?
Answer: None. The quoted percentages are knowingly lies.
Ya gotta hand it to the statists: they may suck at providing services (VA, DMV, IRS, HHS), but when they find out support for gun control is ebbing, they whip out a massacre with incredible efficiency.
That’s odd. My vote-by-mail State just passed the most draconian gun control measures in the country.
33 percent said they “personally own a gun.”
And who actually answers polls honestly, on the subject of guns?
"MYOB!"
I say *no* gun control...and *lots* of criminal control!
The pandemic and climate change were phase 1 of the great reset. Disarming the people is phase 2.
The unpublished Harvard/Northeastern survey result summary, obtained exclusively by the Guardian and the Trace, estimates that America’s gun stock has increased by 70m guns since 1994. At the same time, the percentage of Americans who own guns decreased slightly from 25% to 22%.
The latest, largest survey agrees closely with Gallup:
About a third of adults in the U.S. report owning a firearm, totaling about 81.4 million adult gun owners.
So, the Trace (Bloomberg funded operation) claims 22% are gun owners. Gallup and the latest survey claim 33%.
All of them are likely low, because of the "shy gun owner" syndrome.
Well, there was a reason the deep state activated the nut case to shoot up that club.
Happens like clockwork every time they need the drum to start beating again.
Portland passed Measure 114. One of the worst gun control laws in the union. Portland voted 2 to 1 in favor. The rest of Oregon 2 to 1 against. This perfectly shows the problem with most states now. All run by a horrible s hole democrat city vs the rest of the state.
And half the gun owners hung up on them...
