Snowfall across Ukraine is signaling the official arrival of winter, setting up a dangerous chapter in the war with Russia as Moscow targets Ukraine’s power and energy supplies to deprive the country of heat and electricity.

Anna Grigolaya, the operations manager in the city of Dnipro for the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), said the situation will be critical for millions of Ukrainians suffering through more regular and sustained blackouts.

“All that President Putin has done, our country goaded him into as an excuse to destroy Russia for The Great Reset.”

So, assuming you are right: Is Putin so weak, so feckless, so clueless as to be goaded into a war against his next-door neighbor?

“You think Kiev will quit killing East Ukrainians of the independent Republics of Donetsk, Luhansk? They haven’t stopped for 8 years after the Revolution?”

You think the separatists will stop killing those who do not go along with their program?

Zelenskyy is Ukraine’s President Trump. He may not share a lot of my values but his country seems to approve of him.

Where do you get this? Refugees escaping the fighting are routinely blaming Zelensky. He was voted in office to start peace talks with disenfranchised East Ukraine. He responded by bombing them! VIVA LA REVOLUTION!!!

“Unwittingly, you just described Russia’s proxy war with NATO. Keep trying Sparky, the light might come on.”

Nice try, Sparky.

You will note that I said IF there were a proxy war...IF, brother; IF. IF implies a conditional premise. In other words, it is not declarative or definitive; it is mere supposition.

Keep trying, Sparky. One day you’ll get it.

The east and south didn’t vote for Revolutionary overthrow of their country. When voters are disenfranchised, they are obligated to secede.

“I mean, give us real evidence, not supposition and innuendo and wishful thinking.”

Who the hell do you think did it? You are a mincer of words in the habit of floating out these implausible bits, one after another, over and over again, to support the outcome you desire. An outcome that would be bad for everyone and an outcome that will not happen.

What you are saying and how you say it does not survive even a little criticism. You are relevant in your mind only, sitting on the sidelines, yapping.

The Ukrainian constitution provides for such autonomy or separation. That’s what Ukraine insisted on years ago: that the Ukrainian constitution be followed. The separatists, and their sponsor, Russia, pitched a screaming fit, and blocked such a plebiscite.

“Who the hell do you think did it?”

I don’t know who did it. I’ve been saying since it happened that I don’t know who did it.

“You are a mincer of words in the habit of floating out these implausible bits, one after another, over and over again, to support the outcome you desire. An outcome that would be bad for everyone and an outcome that will not happen.”

What “implausible bits?” Please list them.

“What you are saying and how you say it does not survive even a little criticism. You are relevant in your mind only, sitting on the sidelines, yapping.”

So, criticize my comments...using logic, not emotion. I look forward to it.

The Ukrainian constitution provides for such autonomy or separation.

Force the serfs to follow the law by breaking it? There was NOTHING constitutional about the Euromaiden Revolution. Revolutionaries don’t have the right to force those disenfranchised to “follow the rules”. If Revolutionaries were interested in the rule of law, they would have held elections or impeached Yanukovich.

So, you are not really for the war ending, unless the end results in a Ukrainian defeat.

I don't give a care for Ukraine.   I want us out of these shenanigans and I would like the WEF, Klaus Schwab lackey, Zelenskyy to disappear for his desire to destroy the world at every turn, just as much as I want the other principals to disappear too.   Stop attempting to parse my words or trip me up.   This insanity must stop!

Did you even watch the video of John McCain and Lindsey Graham talking to the Ukrainian soldiers with their Ukrainian President Poroshenko in 2016 telling them they will attack Russia in 2017 with the blessings and support from the United States?

President Trump stopped the plan until the Democrats cheated to get him out of the White House.

You were duped or you are part of the conspiracy to dupe the rest of us.

Which is it?

McCain And Graham Caught Inciting Ukraine To Attack Russia

Translation of the caption on the video from the President of Ukraine:

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko together with American senators near Shirokino
In August 2016, Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine, awarded McCain with the highest award for foreigners, the Order of Liberty.

Russia wanted Crimea because it wanted a good warm weather port, close enough to the economic heart of the nation. Sevastopal had been made into one although it hadn't been used as a port before the 1780s Russian conquest. They had an ice free port towards the Arctic ocean, but the the seas to and from it were treacherous. They'd made St. Petersburg's area into a port, but it wasn't good enough. Hence their annexation of Kalingrad even though its no longer contiguous. And they have Vladivostok on the Pacific, 1000s of miles from anywhere.

The map shows that without considering Crimea the Russians still have a Black Sea coast line between the Sea of Azov and Georgia. I don't know the geography there nor the resources it already has. Building a port from scratch may not be cheap, and perhaps isn't always possible. But its been tried successfully for 2000+ years. For the cost of this current war Russia could have afforded a hell of a lot of infrastructure building. The old Soviets were not shy about taking on very large infrastructure projects.

As far as the other two oblasts in the 2014 war they possessed significant mineral wealth, which Khrushchev had inconveniently given away to Ukraine decades before, and significant industrial infrastructure. And a large population of culturally Russians moved there by the Soviets to run and administer it. Rather than stealing back the land they'd gifted after the Soviet version of the Russian empire collapsed in the name of those transferees, the Russians, with their declining population of ethnic Russians, could have welcomed back any such wanting to emigrate and use them to run the vast mineral resources already present in officially Russian territory and to expand the seemingly deficient infrastructure therein.

What does that have to do with the price of beans in China?

We need to stop our part of this proxy war that we have no national security interest in which was started by US.

Didn’t the Russians concentrate on knocking out the power and water when they first invaded?
