Biden agrees to pay climate REPARATIONS: US will pay up to $1BN to compensate developing countries for global warming - but gas-guzzling China WON'T have to pay into global fund
Daily Mail ^

The United States will take part in the creation of and contribute to a fund that will pay developing nations to tackle climate change.

The fund, negotiated at the United Nations' COP27 Summit, was originally known as a 'loss and damage' fund and had been blocked by previous American administrations.

With a final climate accord already more than a day overdue, representatives of nearly 200 nations were anxious for an agreement they could bill as a step forward in the fight against climate change.  ADVERTISEMENT

The nations involved are largely from Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and the south pacific, who see the matter as payback for a crisis that they did not contribute to but nonetheless could, in their view, destroy them.

Biden was granted $1 billion to help developing countries tackle climate change, although it's unclear if that cash will go into this fund.

The president also faces having his plans stymied by the GOP-majority house, which would have to approve any funding.

And gas-guzzling China wouldn't have to contribute to any global fund, because it is still considered a developing nation.  The United States will take part in the creation of and contribute to a fund that will pay developing nations to tackle climate change

This money will be essentially wasted, and it’s time for the Republican Party to grow a pair and oppose this without compromise.

It was time for that 40 years ago.

Just because the US (and Europe for that matter) are a bunch of IDIOTS regarding ‘climate change’, why should China (or Russia, or India, for that matter) follow them off the cliff?

Literally every billionaire is in on this. They will not stop until they have all the money and we have nothing. At that point they will turn on each other until only one has all the money.

With all the money Bidens giving away to other countries you’d think the reset is already in motion for World Governance.

Sad but true. Biden has never had a real job. Most politicians are attorneys. What the heck does an attorney know about economics much less running a business other than a law practice? What do they know about macro theory? National income accounting is foreign to them. Our national debt defies anything I ever learned, and no bank would loan a penny
to anyone with our debt. SAD. Trump had us back on track.
