It’s probably one, or a combination of several things- touring sucks and most of his fans are either unable to drive at night, in nursing homes, or Depends.
Guy put on a hell of a show back in the day, though; seen him both with Crazy Horse and with CSNY.
He turned a ‘59 Continental into a biodiesel hybrid, but it caught fire.

I liked ONE Neil Young album, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere from 1969. Featuring Cinnamon Girl, sung by ... Danny Whitten. So, I couldn’t give a $hit about Young says or does.

‘Long May You Run’ was dedicated to one of his cars. Darn fine song. When I think of the 70s a lot of bands and albums stand out, ‘Rust Never Sleeps’ is near the top of my album list. From about 1969 to 1979 nobody had a better run of quality albums than Young.
His music always sucked. And he hates America. Elton John is playing his last concert in America because he said he owed so much to this Country. Love him or hate him....Give Elton Kudos for that.
Well if the band rides stationary bikes during the show they might be able to power one small tambourine or a foot pedal.

Decade is an outstanding compilation of Young’s music. It’s just a terrific album.
