NUSA DUA, Indonesia (AP) — For President Joe Biden, an international trip scheduled for just days after the midterm election looked like it would offer an escape hatch, allowing him to jet far away as he faced what many thought would be a crushing verdict from voters.
Instead his journey, which included stops in Egypt, Cambodia and Indonesia, turned into an around-the-world victory lap. Biden spent the trip making congratulatory calls to Democrats who fared better than expected in the midterms, emboldening him during three global summits where he pushed for stronger action on climate change, closer economic ties in Asia and greater condemnation of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
After facing doubts at home and abroad over his insistence that the United States is turning the page on his chaotic predecessor, Donald Trump, Biden’s contention that “America is back” appeared more durable than ever.
The carefully choreographed trip was interrupted by a missile that landed in Poland as the G-20 summit was underway. Two people died, raising fears that the war in neighboring Ukraine could spread beyond its borders, and speculation quickly spread that Russia was responsible.
Daniel Fried, a former U.S. ambassador to Poland, said Biden made the right moves in a dangerous situation by expressing solidarity with Poland but not rushing to conclusions.
The administration, he said, “played it right.”
For the White House, it was another opportunity for Biden to demonstrate a steady hand on the international stage during his trip.

Actually, he is much stronger. The D’s should have had an historically horrible showing, given midterm, horrible economy, abuse of law enforcement, overt vilification of middle class Americans. Instead, they came out virtually even — and with the weak sisters in the house that were elected on “bipartisanship”, a lot of really bad stuff is going to get through congress.
That was an unprecedented strong showing. It sucks that evil people weren’t spanked severely by the voters. But they just got another two years to abuse us.

So based on early predictions we did as expected, won the House despite widespread fraud and all budget items all spending by law originates in the House. We will have gridlock for two years and a lot of continuing resolutions. Let Biden have his day in the sun, overseas where his other WEF, Soros funded buddies love the old idiot. I dont buy it. A win is a win. Nothing is certain anymore, nothing. End of the day Trump’s candidates did well, the House was won. Biden is taking a moral victory which is a distant second to actually winning the house.
Biden lost. Plain and simple.
