One of the few law enforcement officials who tried to clean up L.A. So they threw him out. L.A. deserves what it gets.

He had years to clean it up...Crime got worse. Btw, the professional politicians in LA don’t want it cleaned up.

He’s the least of LA’s worries now that they have a DA that does not want to prosecute, they elected a sheriff that does not want to arrest and a radical left socialist mayor. Even the homeless will want to leave now.

He tried his best to get control of the huge homeless problem...cleaned out the Venice boardwalk when the mayor told LAPD to stand down.
He also refused to fire his deputies over the vaccine mandates and stood his ground there.
He’s infinitely better than Luna. Sad that the voters couldn’t see that.

That’s right. People familiar with the situation there and what he was up against, as opposed to the ignorant blowhards here, know it’s a loss for Los Angeles. He fought to clean it up and lost. Too bad.....

Exactly. I feel bad for him.

Yeah, I’m also at the point where I hope the good cops just walk away from the blue cities so they can have exactly what they deserve. Let them live in the leftist paradise of their dreams, and see if it matches reality.

With the move to defund police departments, and the attitude
of city councils to let every sort of criminal back out on
the streets with no bail, it’s a stretch to blame Villanueva
for the increase in crime.

I’ll bet his numbers stack up pretty good against what is
coming.
