Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) holds a slight lead of 1,122 votes over Democrat Adam Frisch one week after Election Day, and both candidates say a recount is likely as the race remains too close to call.
The conservative firebrand was seen as likely to cruise to a second term, so even if she holds her narrow lead after the counts are finalized, the close margin marks a major surprise in this year’s midterm elections.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Republicans are just one seat away from taking the House majority. With 12 seats still up for grabs, the GOP has multiple paths to victory in the chance that Boebert’s lead dissipates.
Both Boebert and Frisch have indicated a recount is likely in their race following the tabulation of any remaining votes, urging their supporters to donate so the campaigns can continue expending resources as the count progresses.

CO is one of seven states that mass mails ballots to everyone on the voter roll.
One official was quoted as saying they were counting overseas military ballots currently in CO and woudn’t post anymore updates until those ballots were counted. However, officials updated vote totals an hour or so ago in the other outstanding district where the Dem was leading,and he is shown as the winner by the media. Guess they’re still trying to find Dem votes in Boebert’s district.
Dems never lose recounts, let’s see what happens here.
They will find just enough votes for her to lose in the recount.

All votes currently in hand in Boebert’s district have been counted. However, overseas military ballots that arrive by end of day tomorrow, Wed 11/16 are still valid. Should have updated totals Thur 11/17. Fingers crossed Boebert wins.
LAKE needs a recount too........that election was STOLEN.
