KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Russia pounded Ukraine’s energy facilities Tuesday with its biggest barrage of missiles yet, striking targets across the country and causing widespread blackouts. A senior U.S. intelligence official said missiles crossed into NATO member Poland, where two people were killed.
A second person confirmed to The Associated Press that apparent Russian missiles struck a site in Poland about 15 miles from the Ukrainian border.

Belarus. Well, maybe. I think they should ask for $100 Trillion in recompense.
I just listened to a breathless female Times Radio commentator calling this the trigger for an Article 5 (attack against one is an attack against all) NATO response. You’ve got to wonder if she just graduated from high school.
You would doubt the words of an “AP Source?”
If the invoke 5, that only obligates NATO to takes actions each nation deems “necessary”. That can be anything from sending defense systems to Poland, summoning the Russian Ambassador, or even doing nothing.
Article 5 is not the commonly attributed mandatory military action. The creators of NATO did not want to let some idiotic European have the power to decide the USA was REQUIRED to go to war.
“Dutch Foreign Minister Wopke Hoekstra took to a bomb shelter in Kyiv after meeting his Ukrainian counterpart and, from his place of safety, described the bombardment as “an enormous motivation to keep standing shoulder-to-shoulder” with Ukraine.
“There can be only one answer, and that is: Keep going. Keep supporting Ukraine, keep delivering weapons, keep working on accountability, keep working on humanitarian aid,” he said.”
It was actually anti-missile fragment, not Russian missile.
We’ve had our errant strikes and Russia theirs.
Ukrainian s300 gone astray from lvov could reach there easily
The Russians have been using S300s in a ground attack role, to make up numbers during these bombardments. They arent very accurate.
For the Russians these old S300s are redundant, and they have large numbers of them, so they are using them up this way.
But did you predict a Russian strike on some random farm?
Vladimir Putin arrives at the airport in Poland and gets in line at customs desk.
Customs officer: Occupation?
Putin: No, just visiting.
Is there a Gulf of Tonkin in Ukraine?
AKA spray-n-pray.
Hey you, hardfuxxd: unprovoked? Crimea annexation and Lugansk and Donbass separatism military support in 2014 was not a provocation? What was it then, a figure skating competition? Tell us, Mr. Geopolitical Genius! What would be a provocation in your enlightened opinion?
LOL, I’m sure we can trust the analysis of @blueboy1969
“I’ve been predicting a Russian strike on NATO staging areas in Poland for months.”
Well, you’re prediction was wrong (at least in this instance). There was no NATO staging area affected by this incident; and, looking at it dispassionately, I doubt very much this was an intentional strike against Poland or NATO.
I think it was either a missile that had been intercepted, and both the missile and the interceptor, out of control, ended up on Polish soil; or it was an off-target missile. I don’t think it was an intentional attack on Poland or its territory.
What the hell does that have to do with me or my grandchildren? Just save the lousy, corrupt world policeman rigamarole. Didn’t being responsible for 15,000 dead American boys and a million mostly innocent Arabs satiate the DC globalist stooge world policeman’s bloodlust the last time you guys trotted him out?
