Former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama are hosting back-to-back conferences about disinformation in the days following Donald Trump's 'big announcement.'
Bush, 76, will host his The Struggle for Freedom conference in Dallas on November 16, while Obama's democracy conference will be held in New York City on the 17th.
Trump's big announcement - largely rumored to be his 2024 presidential campaign announcement - is set for Tuesday.
Organizers said the conferences were not planned together, but will focus on the rising threats from authoritarianism and disinformation.

I wonder if they will discuss “WMD” disinformation and “If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor” disinformation. Or is that approved disinformation?
Odd that Bush has never explained the disinformation that got us into Iraq, killed 4500 of our best young men and women, maimed countless others, killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians, resulted in the decimation of the Christian population, and made a thorough mess of the country.

I get the feeling thst these “conferences” are about the exact opposites of freedom and democracy.

There's that all-important 'democracy' again. There appears to be a disturbance in the force. The wolves are awfully nervous that the sheep are going to utilize some sort of great equalizer.
