DeSantis is a governor of the 3rd largest state. His business is doing the things that are immediately vital to his state and over whichic he has influence. Trade policy and foreign relations ate beyond the pale at this time. But he has continuously been Ctive in bringing industry and business to Fla.

So going by some Freepers “logic” that if a Rino supports DeSantis, than DeSantis must be a Rino....

then since Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger is AGAINST DeSantis then YOU must be a rino Kinzinger supporter if you oppose DeSantis.

See how that works?

I will support Trump or DeSantis, whichever is the nominee. I will not stay home and let the demonrats win because “my guy” did not get the nod.

It’s crazy to me that DeSantis is putting up W’s all over the place, he’s right on all of the issues and disliked by Cheney and Kinzinger (really hated by them but have to keep up the charade that Never Trump is not Never Republican), yet we have to pretend he’s some Mitt Romney Trojan Horse for the benefit of Trump.

"I think it’s important, though, this is not, you know, Ron DeSantis winning big was huge and congratulations to him. It’s not necessarily a message that we saw last night, though, that the rest of the country wants necessarily Ron DeSantis-type, I guess, leadership, I’ll call it. I think he has a real opportunity to take the Republican nomination to win the presidency. But it’s not going to be kind of this in-your-face thing that we’ve seen from Donald Trump. This is what we saw last night," Kinzinger said.

Trump raised $100 million and gave out only $15 million of that to his endorsed candidates. Blake Masters faced an avalanche of money and could have used the help. Laxalt barely lost and even a little bit of money his way would have made the difference. Nothing more needs to be said.

By my count, Mitch McConnell's PAC -- the Senate Leadership Fund -- spent something like $8 million to support a Republican senator (Lisa Murkowski) who had lost her GOP primary and was running for a seat that was going to end up in Republican hands anyway.

And let's remember that this was to help a "Republican" senator who sided with the Democrats on just about every consequential vote in the last two years.

That pretty much tells the story of the 2022 midterm election debacle for the Republican Party.

What utter nonsense.

Who pays for Trump’s flights? Is it his campaign warchest that he withheld from our defeated Senate candidates? Or is it his own pocket?(which I seriously doubt). Trump is unfortunately a one note candidate: me, me, me.

Kinzinger seems to really fear DeSantis.

That said, when Kinzinger posts a negative, that's a net positive as Kinzinger is viewed so negatively.

Trump has his own Boeing 757. One of the biggest reasons for his appeal in 2016 was that he didn't have to go beg donors to charter an aircraft for his campaign.

Whenever Republicans get excited about someone this early, we give the media more time to tear him down. Even Trump is going after him already.

I wouldn’t mind DeSantis as POTUS. But, Republicans are setting him up to be attacked early. We don’t even know whether he wants to run in ‘24 or ‘28 or ever.

And who pays for the Trump airplane? You raised the question about DeSantis, so answer it for Trump. The money that Trump spent flying around helping to lose elections could have been donated to Republican candidates to help them to win. Trump is all about Trump, me, me, me, and no one else.

Trump owned luxurious aircraft like that for decades before he ran for office. The recently refurbished 757 was originally purchased in 1991.

Good, this makes me feel even better about DeSantis. Neo-Cons fear him.
