Officials from Arizona’s most populous county, Maricopa, released results from 98,618 ballots Sunday night that broke 54.6 percent in favor of Republican Kari Lake, bringing her closer to Democrat Katie Hobbs.

ABC 15 Data Analyst Garret Archer reported the batch breakdown to be 54.6 percent in favor of Lake and 45.4 percent in favor of Democrat Katie Hobbs, giving Lake a net gain of 8,911 votes. Maricopa County election officials noted in a press release that “nearly all” of the ballots in the batch “were dropped off on Election Day,” which have been widely expected to break for Republican candidates.

national election law must be standardized and secure.

That will make them easier to cheat.

Why? Right now democratic run states can literally override their state constitutions to cheat. Emergency actions taken 2 years ago are being written into stone in these places as we speak. It really cant get much worse. At least if there were a series of consistent conditions, like IDs and only true absentee ballots, mandated by a single federal entity, it would be easier to see the cheating and take away avenues to do it.

Same reason everything is worse with centralization.

You only need to cheat at one place.

Notice that there are national laws that some states would have never passed and they have to live with them.

You can impose mail in voting at the federal level, write the laws in a way that makes it easier fot cities to submit fradulent votes and affect the result. In that case, Florida won’t have good election laws and the Democrats would win there too.

If there is a national approach, and it is the wrong approach, you harm every state. If there is no national approach, some states can do things well.

Here are a few questions for you, specifically, Travis because you are good with creating graphics, etc.

What if there was never an idea of a 'red wave' floated by whoever floated it? Who created the 'red wave' narrative? What if the election happened without those expectations and we got the results that we got? Would we be generally happy with the outcome? Would we be seeing the current blame game of a so-called 'disaster'?

I ask because I think the election being a 'disaster' is only a perception based on the false expectations created by the 'red wave' talk. I think that was part of the plan to create this division in our ranks.

Look no further than 2022 to see why it doesnt matter if some places do it well. At least under a federal mandate those that didnt do well would have a protocol to be held accountable to without the Sec of State being the arbiter of right and wrong.

Believe me I have very little faith in centralized govt and I suggest this with the utmost hesitancy but look at whats happening.

With so many different moving parts right now in so many places operating under different mandates its literally impossible to stop the cheating....or even prove it.

There is a problem in Arizona because the people who were elected didn’t pass good election laws. Those were Republican politicians.

The federal government has more money to give, so there is more incentive to buy politicians working for the federal government. So if Republicans elected at the state level didn’t pass good election laws, Republicans elected at the federal level are less likely to do it.

If there are going to be national election laws, businesses who want subsidies from the federal goverment will find candidates that act like the perfect tea party candidate. Once elected, these candidates will make all elections in the country easy to win for the Democrats.

I think the right reaction to the current problems is not to ask for the federal government to fix things. The right reaction is to improve the local government, reduce the legitimacy of the federal government, have a massive tax protest by not paying taxes, and secede. Secession can be by state, or all red counties could secede and form a new union.

“If the Dems wanted to steal FLA last Tuesday they could have easily.”

That’s obviously not true. Democrats NEVER compromise on anything. They certainly would not give away Florida to a highly successful, conservative governor who they hate almost as much as Trump.

Overall, this election was a disaster for Democrats. If they had as much power as you seem to think they have, they would’ve done much better.

The willingness of Democrats to lie, cheat, and steal gives them a competitive advantage but not unlimited power.

The swamp is deep , we get it. The election laws can be simple though. The issue is when things become overly complicated and complex. Ideally the federal mandate would be voter ID , in person voting, counted votes next day are void. Problem solved, right? …. I do understand this threatens a certain group of politicians but the people seem to want this kind of law….at least from the polls ive seen, for whatever thats worth. I also understand this makes too much sense for it happen… like term limits.
