Both McConnell and Lindsy Graham played a big part in giving Dems a victory. McConnell supported Murkowski and others. Graham purposely stirred up young Democrats over abortion and brought out their base. I hope to never see him on Hannity again. I always considered him a forked tongue shill that received undo coverage by Hannity. He is there to manipulate the people and not promote conservatism.

The biggest problem is mail in ballot harvesting.

It’s taken over our political system

To the eternal shame of the Republican Party, they have spent the last two aiding and abetting vote fraud and castigating any of their supporters who are concerned about election fraud as “deniers” when they should have been scrambling to shore up vote integrity.

What were these morons thinking

They cut their own throats and may have destroyed our electoral system for a generation..

I would love to change from Republican to Independent; however, to work as an election clerk on election day in Maine one must be registered as a Republican or Demorat.

The law requires that any time the scanner of our paper ballots is opened, a registered Republican and a registered Demorat be present. Also, before voting starts the scanner ballot storage box be inspected by an R and a D, the same if the machine jams, and after the polls closed and the tallies run and the ballots removed from the box.
I like doing this job so will stay as a registered R.

"What are Republicans actually going to do for working people?" he had asked in a previous tweet Thursday. "How about, to start: tougher tariffs on China, reshore American jobs, open up American energy full throttle, 100K new cops on the street. Unrig the system."

Trump/Hawley '24.

Josh, you're hired!!!!

He speaks the truth.

At least complete destruction would be constructive.

“Form a new party, make election reform the ONLY issue that they care about and ride that horse as far as it will go.”

First, we have to learn to cheat better than they do!

Only then can we reform elections.

Crawl in the dirt, then shower.

That’s precisely what a new party could do. It could actually fight election fraud. What a novel idea. The current GOP seems perfectly fine with the fraud because it prevents the people from getting control over their government.

Hawley is a spending bro. He wanted more and more stimulus in 2020, and he doesn’t want to cut back entitlements. At least he’s consistent on that[when gop spends]. Good luck with all the debt and inflation Mr. Hawley.

“ Unrig the system.”

This is the rub.

The Democrats now hold pretty much every position in every state that would be required to unrig the system. Thus it is a Catch-22. You cannot unrig the system without taking those positions from the Democrats, but you cannot remove the Democrats from those positions until you unrig the system.

It’s checkmate.

I’ll say up front that I do not see a workable solution.

As you indicate, the only way for us to win is for us to cheat better than they do. BUT the FBI and the DOJ would consider it a crime for us to cheat and they would stop us cold and send major political figures to jail. The Democrats face no such penalty.

I think election reform needs to be a “trendy” issue and if the elected politicians (i.e. Democrats) refuse to address it, I think they should face consequences that are beyond the scope of the ballot box.

.
The Biden Republicans keep assisting Joey - and give him win after win - on legislation.

If you think that’s going to end, time to build that rubber room.

Trump must go. He has turned the GOP from a Washongton DC RINO club into a Trump cult. Neither is good for America.

It’s impossible to cut Social Security. You cut, you and your party are out of office for generations. They will get cut when inflation is out of control and there is no other choice. It’s impossible to do it before in a democracy. This became inevitable the day the program started.

Focus on things that are possible.

The current Republican party doesn’t really stand for anything. But they still expect people to blindly vote for them.

No, it's local politics, precinct by precinct. It's work against an entrenched enemy. But it's how the country was won to begin with.

The market will force the cuts. Cutting entitlements and fixing the debt was possible back in 92, perhaps with Perot. All of that is gone.

There is no going back. The entitlement curve up will force more taxes and cuts. Gen x, y, z etc are the biggest bag holders in the history of the world.

Hawley is correct.

The Republicans should focus on the concerns of workers, employees and small business.

They outnumber the corporate crowd by 10X.

Big business, especially multinational corporations look at America as simply another market to exploit. They don’t care at all about our history, culture or people.
