Frankly I am going to believe Dr. Gina Loudon, who lives in Palm Beach and knows the President personally and stated Trump helped DeSantis rather than an anonymous forum poster.

I did not know MAGA is tired and unlikeable...It sure wasn’t a couple weeks ago on FR and at the rallies that Trump went to. I didn’t know patriotism could go out of style.
Some feel his attack was not uncalled for...but then you are immune to differing POV. Time will tell, but I am not pulling trigger for any candidate when not all the election returns have even been counted.
I want someone who will not be beholding to individuals donating $20M and $20M with very questionable agendas. And put country first rather than campaign.

That’s a concern. I don’t blame him the first time around because his first set of (good) candidates for cabinet positions were so heavily resisted by the Dems that, IIRC, he didn’t even get his cabinet assembled for nearly three months.
They’d actually done the same thing with Bush after his second election, too, so the GOP should have been ready.
But one of the reasons he didn’t get a lot of support, I think, was his gratuitous personal attacks on GOP rivals in the primaries. Oppose, attack, whatever, but do so on the basis of ideas, not insults about people’s physiques or something utterly stupid.
And then this was followed by the revolving door, where people stayed only until they couldn’t take it.
What he did that was great was to recognize us, conservatives who were just normal people who wanted a good life, and defend us against the attacks of elitists such as Hillary and Schumer.
So I’m not putting down his importance but saying that he really would have gotten much more cooperation if he had just put his hand over his mouth occasionally.
That said, I’m glad his children seem to be getting tired of this role. So hopefully he won’t be relying on them anymore.
