Lara Trump issues dark warning to DeSantis saying it would be ‘nicer’ for him to stay out of 2024 race

Lara Trump issued a dark warning to Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis saying it would be “nicer” for him to stay out of the 2024 race for the GOP presidential nomination.

The daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump appeared on Sky News Australia to boost his prospective candidacy that’s expected to be announced on Tuesday.

The announcement appears to be set to go ahead despite Mr Trump being urged by allies to delay his campaign start until after the Georgia Senate runoff on 6 December.

“I think he's a smart enough guy to know that it would be great to have all the support of this party, of the America first, Maga movement, whatever you want to call it, fully behind him in 2028,” Ms Trump said.

She said the movement could be split if Mr DeSantis runs in 2024.

“I can tell you those primaries get very messy and very raw. We've experienced that before. So wouldn't it be nicer for him, and I think he knows this, to wait until 2028,” she added.

The irony is that the lefties will be cheering Trump on now, given that he flattened the Red Wave. He’ll be their hero after the Harris-Fetterman ticket takes the 2024 election.

Wakey wakey, kidz.

Wow. Dark warning.

Nevermind it was Biden who actually issued one a couple of winters ago.

If Trump really wants to be an agent of chaos, maybe he should run as a Democrat.

And every MAGA supporter in America can fight like hell to get him through the primaries! He was a Democrat before. Why not again?

And in November it'll be Trump (D) vs. DeSantis (R) and either way, we win.

I personally don’t believe Trump can win. But let’s say he does win. Who is going to work for him? Thankfully Jared and Ivanka have indicated they want no part of it.

I can’t see him being able to put together an effective team.

I want a GOP nominee in 2024 who will get Biden out of there. I want someone who can win - we are in real trouble as a nation. Over the last two weeks, I've really started to wonder whether Trump can win it - polls show that as bad as Biden is, voters dislike Trump even more than Biden. In any event, if DeSantis or others want to run for the GOP nomination in 2024, I want to hear their positions and how they'd govern - I don't need Trump or his daughter-in-law trying to decide for me in 2022.

More younger voters coming up every election. They tend to vote D. They expect govt to change their diapers, so another student loan bailout could lure them to the polls.
Illegals are encouraged to sign up and there are millions of them. They expect govt to wait on them hand and foot.
Dems will continue to refine their cheating tactics.
Trump will have a hard time winning in 2024.
That said, I don’t see DeSantis running for president in 2024.
As for Biden, he will definitely not be running two years from now.

As a life-long Republican, I can’t tell you how many times that a potential candidate for office is told by other Republicans, “If you wait until next time you’ll have everyone’s support in the Republican Primary!”

Then somehow that doesn’t happen. It’s the pattern.

Just saying!

I suppose it’s safe to say that Trump won’t be reinstated as President before 2024 due to being robbed in 2020? And the beat goes on.....

That was really nice of her and informing him the workd is his in 2028.

Amazing how people have turned on Trump in less than a week. Makes one think maybe this was orchestrated. Week leading up to election, people were THRILLED he was going to make an announcement...No boos, or “Don’t run!” at those rallies.

Actually it was nice she said something. This whole circus will split MAGA—maybe destroy it. That is the ultimate objective of Erik Erickson, Paul Ryan, Romney, Bush, Obama, et. al. Also goal of his 2nd largest PAC donor.

DeSantis owes his governorship to Trump coming down and campaigning for him in 2018. Haven’t heard any public or private thank you from Ron.

He takes his moment, will split the MAGA movement like it is doing here on FR.

I can tell by Trump’s crowds, who line up days before the event, have started to dwindle down to tens of thousands. Honestly, anyone who can’t see the obvious election fraud that is “defeating” Republicans is just not looking very hard.

DeSantis is just “the next thing” to chase....covid, BLM, Ukraine, etc. Considering what Trump did for DeSantis, I think a DeSantis run in 2024 would be pretty darned snaky. No reason he can’t wait until 2028, as he’s a young man who was just voted in for second term as Governor....which he has done a great job at!

since DeSantis professes as based, authentic Christian, who unlike others has walked the Christian walk so far (many examples of this to numerous to mention), I’m sure he’ll get on his knees again before he makes any decision relative to Trump and/or running for President in 2024, and then do with the Lord tells him to do. If he does that, he’ll be fine with whatever happens.
