Bore! Donald Trump has gone and lost his swing
New York Post ^ | November 12, 2022 | Michael Goodwin

For Donald Trump, politics and entertainment are intertwined and often synonymous. His remarkable success at both makes his latest missteps especially puzzling because Trump is committing the cardinal sin of both: He’s become boring.

The ultimate shock jock is now predictable. Wind him up and watch him throw a garbage can full of insults at anyone who won’t kiss the ring. Ho-hum.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin are getting the Trump treatment now. Both are rising Republican stars, so naturally the former president trashes and demeans them. Can’t be competition for top dog.

Long gone is the time when Trump brought fresh blood to the old and tired Republican Party. “Low energy Jeb” brilliantly ended the career of a nominee-in-waiting, and his demolition of Hillary Clinton saved America from a disaster.

Trump’s was a consequential presidency that was far better for America and its global allies than anything produced by his predecessor or his successor. His Operation Warp Speed delivered a COVID-19 vaccine in record time, America was more prosperous and the world was safer and more stable with him in the Oval Office.

Trump achieved those gains despite a corrupt FBI, a conspiratorial Deep State, a rabid media and impeachment-obsessed Dems. He deserved a second term and, had he let his America First policies do the talking, would have had one.

Even after his reckless efforts to overturn the 2020 election and the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, enough goodwill remained that victory in a 2024 primary and the general election remained possible. But Trump’s conduct in his post-presidency has been so erratic that a declining slice of voters hungers for his return.

You’re a sick person who has fallen prey to fascists, you’ll own nothing and be happy - it’s your destiny.

You, who want Trump gone.. dropped out... You want to give the dirty dem and dirty media and the corrupt government and corrupt bidens.. the victory!? You want them to have the belief they got him out!?

You know what happens if you do get Trump out.. a victory for the enemy just gives them juice and pull, to keep at it... they want control and they will not stop till they get it..
Trump was standing in their way, preventing them from taking our freedoms.. from taking our guns... You take Trump out and it’s all over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, no one else will work in this war.. you have to win this or you have already lost the next chapter... which would start immediately.
Get some sense into your heads.... ya do NOT surrender when you have the best weapon for victory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not care if you like him or not... I do not care if you think all the wrong things to end whatever is getting to you.. you have not reached the point that Trump has been living in for these years. He did not quit on you.. don’t quit on Trump!

If the majority of citizens felt the country was on the wrong track when Democrats controlled the Presidency, the Senate and the House, democrats would still win.

If most citizens felt Republicans could do a better job handling the economy, inflation and foreign relations, democrats would still win.

If 80% of citizens wanted our borders controlled and felt Republicans would do a better job of it - democrats would still win.

If 5 million illegals crossed the border and democrats flew them to secret locations and citizens objected - democrats would still win.

And Chuck Todd, MSNBC and the MSM would still kiss democrat butt and pretend all the above was believable. Hey guy, would any of this make sense if YOUR newsrooms were democratic and ruled by the vote?

DEMOCRAT precincts and counties are intentionally even violating state law in their delayed ‘counting’ processes, IMO.

It starts with the master DNC/Administration determining which of them are of critical need and then they issue those entities to manufacture whatever they need during the delay process to win.

It’s criminal but when you have a Democrat State SoS, or Governor and a media and JUDICIAL system that is complicit in the steal and have a leftist FBI and DOJ to ignore it all, that’s a very hard thing to beat.

I and others have had many “rational arguments”, while sycophants throw out 1-liners about how we are just RINOs, or traitors, or the hell with us. Tell me something about “I’m tired of...”

The best I’ve seen is arguments about what Trump has done. Occasionally.

We have likewise argued that he burns bridges with his “style”, and that he actually ISN’T better than RR simply by failing to win a second time, losing Congress, losing many (not all) general races, using only EOs to get a job done, etc.

We can’t all every single time post a “rational argument”. I get that for those who adore Trump, too. But it seems the vast majority is immediate attack of anyone who doesn’t think he is the greatest thing now, or ever; usually in 1-liner insult form. I’m serious. It’s easy to check out threads over the last few years and see the harumphing and the over-slobbering ecstatic posts about him, etc.

It is my understanding that the governors were of Virginia and Florida.

Citizens will be safer joining the Democrat party than staying with Republicans.

Actually “bot” is an appropriate term.

Funny how so many here were denigrated as mere “BushBots”.

But I haven’t yet seen the name “TrumpBots”!

Thanks for reminding me.

What I’m about to say is pure sarcasm and I don’t want it to happen.

What if we adopted the policies and positions of the democrats?

Answer:

We would sill be called racist, nazi, sexist, homophobic, environmental destroyers.
Plus the conservative wing would start a 3rd party.

The only way out of this is massive economic pain. The voters aren’t going to change the way they vote until there is an economic reckoning.

In the late eighties, when he got into financial trouble, he blamed everyone but himself, the bankers who held him to his promises to repay them, the Reagan tax cuts, etc. Its in his book. His creditors put the poor guy on a budget of a mere $450,000 a month. He’s still blaming everyone but himself. Apparently, so are you.

From Jason miller-

“ The 10% Never Trumpers may be getting 90% of the oxygen on the Sunday Shows this morning, but Ken Griffin, Larry Hogan and Chris Sununu aren’t going to move the Republican base away from President Trump.”

Well, you’re right - the straw-man hyperbole goes both ways.

Nobody should be calling anyone Trump-worshippers, but nobody should be calling anyone Trump-haters either.

I’ve occasionally been guilty of calling someone a Trump-hater - when it seems to me they are being unreasonably critical of him.

I shouldn’t do that - I’ll try avoid it in the future.

The only way out of this is massive economic pain. The voters aren’t going to change the way they vote until there is an economic reckoning.

That's Biden's plan... have you looked at his 'economic choices'? Biden's following the commie hellhole path - like North Korea, Cuba, the old USSR and China. China alone lost hundreds of millions of citizens to starvation... In North Korea grandparents would starve to death to give their grandchildren a chance for a few more weeks of life. Economic pain IS the commie/totalitarian/democrat weirdo way. So please don't go down that road. Leave that one to 'the liberals'. History will remember - just like we know of the millions commies put to death by starvation.

The Republican party with their support of open border globalists cost us multiple *trillions* fighting 10 year long “Compassion war”. And we won nothing but death and debt.

Republican Bush opened the flood gates to millions of illegals, and after 911 we imported more Muslims than were allowed in the two decades previously. I could go on and on.

And you do nothing but attack Trump...That’s pretty damn disgusting.

LOST HIS SWING? I DON’T BELIEVE SO...

Donald Trump’s handicap
According to Golf Digest, Trump has a handicap of 2.8, meaning that he has the potential to play a round of golf at 2.8 strokes over par given his best scores. His best round of golf listed on his handicap index is a 70, so he is capable of going low.

Is Donald Trump good at golf?
As you can gather from Trump’s low handicap, he is considered to be a good golfer.

But it’s not just the numbers that back up that point. Eighteen-time major winner Jack Nicklaus called Trump “the best player” among the presidents he has played with and even compared Trump’s game to his own in 2019, per Golf.com.
