DeSantis 2024? Think Again.

It should be clear by this time that popularity has nothing to do with electability. Trump filled rally after rally in state after state with countless, full-house, full-stadium crowds, and such numbers do not lie. There really was a red wave in the midterms, but it was macro-engineered to a trickle, as should have been expected.

The scam of “malfunctioning” voting machines, the shortage of paper ballots, the tsunami of mail-in and late ballots, the temporary closing and slow-downs of polling stations, and so on would have been sufficient to determine an electoral result. 2020 was an early run for 2022, which in turn should be regarded as a template for 2024. I am absolutely sure that the Dems are now, even as we speak, preparing favorable ground for the next presidential election.

As Stalin is reputed to have said, “It’s not the people who vote that count, it’s the people who count the votes.” To make Trump responsible for Democrat malfeasance is wholly misguided.

DeSantis is now the favorite among many Republican voters and almost all conservative commentators for the Party presidential nomination. Such passionate advocates seem to have missed two essential points:

HERE ARE THE TWO ESSENTIAL POINTS :

1. In a rigged electoral system, no Republican candidate, not even DeSantis, can be expected to win a national election. DeSantis cruised to victory in Florida because, as governor of the state, he had the means and the authority to ensure a clean election. But he would be helpless against a massive crime organization, aka the Democrat Party, which effectively controls the electoral infrastructure, the physical apparatus, the paid loyalty of election workers, and the federal agencies that oversee the process. If the system is not repaired and made answerable to the people, there will never be a Republican president again.

2. Should DeSantis run in 2024 and lose — which is increasingly likely in the current adulterated circumstances — the sequel would be devastating. Florida would be at the mercy of the next gubernatorial race since DeSantis is a unique political figure and could not be readily replaced. Additionally, DeSantis himself would have become a kind of displaced person, neither an American president nor a state governor. An invaluable political talent would have been sacrificed to the untutored enthusiasm of his supporters. If the American republican experiment is now in dire straits, it would then be expeditiously destroyed. A slim hope will have become an utter disaster.

The more it happens, the more it’s going to happen.

Behavior that gets rewarded, gets repeated. Zero consequences of getting caught, zero. That’s what your vote is worth. Zero.

The democrats stole the US in 2020 and they’ll only allow Republicans they can trust to be elected

That is why if I were DeSantis, I wouldn’t run in 2024. The GOP on a national level is such a freak show right now, why get in the mud?

The dump Trump messaging is coming from—

1. Democrats
2, RINO’s
3. Media

None of the above are friendly to the MAGA movement.

If DeSantis runs the DemoMarxists are going to put him through hell even worse than Trump. They are getting the message that their fake investigations, their Stasi FBI raids, their Stalinist show trials actually work and can destroy even a President, and they are going to up the ante and go even worse on DeSantis.

This is why Trump HAS to run and HAS to win. The people need to send the message to these domestic enemies that their BS does not work. Either that or get use to Republicans continuing to cower in fear, get use to continued stolen elections, and democrats having power for the next 100 years.

If they don’t fix the elections it doesn’t matter who the r’s run. End mail in voting, vote harvesting, drop boxes and voting machines. Vote on election day with paper ballot and count them by hand and announce results on election night. If this isn’t fixed it doesn’t matter if you “vote harder”! I don’t blame the d’s for taking advantage of the “stupid party”. If you let them cheat , they will cheat.

So, it would be better to run Trump and lose than run DeSantis and lose? Trump did not prepare for the vote, no good attorneys, no large number of attorneys. He went cheap on the revotes. People excuse this, that there were no good attorneys available. Or, more often that there were none that would support Trump. Would that be true of DeSantis? He is showing that he puts the money, the planning, and the effort into completing whatever he starts. That is a big difference from off the cuff Trump. As I wrote the other day, I’m done with Trump. I was one of the first supporters on that FR for him, but he’s toxic. So for me, I went from Lyn’ Ted to Trump, to now considering DeSantis.

However what DeSantis can do in the meantime is work behind the scenes to mold and shape the GOP at a National level. Something he cannot do focusing on running for President in 2024. Then by 2028 things could be setup nicely for him. But right now the GOP is just too much of a dumpster fire for him to save by 2024.

As for point 2, no politician is irreplaceable.

As for point 1, we must fight with every lawful method available, and DeSantis seems at least to me to be the best leader we can field and have a chance at saving our country.

No sane person wants a second civil war in the USA.

If you went from “Lyin’ Ted” to Trump, then were you really one of Trump’s first supporters here?

You betcha. A conservative friend of mine made an interesting (and I think correct) remark yesterday. As more and more states go to mail-in ballots, he said, this irreversible trend will destroy the Republican Party.

So we might as well resign ourselves to voting for the least crazy candidate in the Democrat primaries. Because that’s where things will be decided.

Is that defeatist talk? Well, yes. But except for Trump, no GOP leader cares about the fraud. That’s why I think my friend is right.

Suck on this you weak kneed anti-Trump Freepers who think you're opinion matters when your thinking is a direct line to defeat in 2024.

"Trump’s flaws of character — and who is without them — do not alter the fact that Trump is an indomitable fighter and the most successful president in recent history. His ego is concomitant with his strength; the two cannot be separated."

"To turn against him now and indulge in gutter journalism, righteous schadenfreude, or in considerations of realpolitik largely because a number of his chosen endorsements succumbed to a corrupt and rigged electoral machine is a sign of conservative defeatism and, in some cases, of self-enamored mobbing."

Get it yet fool?

Say whatever about Trump, but he knows how to hold massive rallies, and folks are genuinely excited to go to,them despite the fsct that he basically repeats the same stuff over and over, and tend s to go on and on about how great he is. He knows what excites the crowd (ie “just look at the back row of crooked dishonest media” and the crowd goes wild)

He is a dynamic personality for sure. Not sure why, but he’s got “it”, and is z once in a century personality.

Yep, he’s rough, crude, thin skinned (sort of- though he has been constantly attacked since running, and has never shied away from reporters like,Biden and ilk do)

My personal feeling is our country could really use another 4 years of him, AND THEN 8 years of desantis. That would be ideal. Trump accomplished a lot during his 4 years, which the media hardly ever publicized. I have a shortened list in my profile. His accomplishments were pretty stunning- and he did more for folks lik,e the black community snd Hispanic than most other presidents had ever done, yet the media engsged,in a black out of his acc9mplishements.

Dedantis has been great for f,Orinda, a d he handles the media like a boss, much like Trump does. But, I thunk we need Donald for another 4 (3specislly where he is getting up in age now), and then get desantis and lake on the ticket next. The left have so crapped up everything. Trump accomplished for,the nation (they do so everytime a republican fixes the economy agsin). That we might need 12 years just tk fix it all.

If the system is not repaired and made answerable to the people

There’s no incentive for the elites to do that. So it won’t happen.
