The surrender would mean Russia gives up all of its territory in Ukraine except Crimea, a Russian policy expert said.
Crimea would become a demilitarised zone, with its status not being discussed again until 2029.
Putin would avoid criminal charges over the war in return and be allowed to remain in power, Professor Valery Solovey, formerly at Moscow's Institute of International Relations claimed.

Who’s going to charge Putin, anyway? Some court in Belgium? If so, good luck enforcing the ruling. And just who would “allow” Putin to remain in power?
The whole article makes absolutely no sense.
Disclaimer: As I have mentioned on other threads, I consider Putin to be a war criminal. But the EU will have to mightily sweeten the pot if they want him to “surrender”.
I vaunt my buurd.
Perhaps you should be in charge.
Our FR armchair Uke soldiers think we have the power to tell any country what they can do and can’t do. That is why most of them hate us. Not to mention we preach our wonderful moral values like homo and trangender malarky as though that is superior behavior. I never will forget that when we were shamefully skedaddling fron Afghanistan some video showed a building we abandoned and on the outside was a huge mural of George Floyd. Someone showed the Taliban with buckets of paint painting over that thing before we were all the way out of there.
Hard to belive we drag that bs to other countries.
NO!
I am going to have to go watch a YouTube vid of that Emil Cosman guy talking about this one. That guy makes me laugh.
They never define "the West". NATO? US? UK?
Anyone that thinks Russia is going to surrender on the West’s term is a moron.
That’s why they won’t criminally charge him if he surrenders.
Update on Russian military operations in and around Ukraine for November 11, 2022.
- Russia completes withdrawal from Kherson city to east bank of the Dnieper River;
- Ukraine has lost its last major opportunity to corner and destroy/capture large numbers of Russian forces/equipment;
- Russia continues stated process of de-militarizing Ukraine;
- US aid to Ukraine becomes increasingly unrealistic - Hawk missiles designed in the 1960s and unused for 2 decades are being "refurbished" for a lack of better options;
- "Avenger" systems to be sent in small numbers (4) which are essentially Stinger missiles attached to a Hummer - after training for Ukrainian operators is completed;
- Dwindling amounts of basic ammunition continue to be sent to Ukraine, prolonging the conflict, but not in quantities to even allow Ukraine to hold what it has;
- As Russian forces withdrew from Kherson city, they advanced elsewhere in southern and northern Donbass.
Putin is a warmonger? I guess you missed how Ukrainian tanks invaded Russia and ran right up to the outskirts of Moscow and were repelled. What? Oh. Never mind...
Thoughtful points. Thanks.
Factually, the russkies already achieved that. Weird way to ‘lose’.
Wow
Well, now we know what they have in mind for Fauci
Agreed. I fear Putin would roll out the “Dead Hand” protocol before surrendering. The whole planet is screwed when that goes down.
Putin is losing and Ukraine is winning. It's that simple. The Russian military is a joke.
I have watched as hundreds of thousands of Russians have immigrated to the US over the past 20 years. I can't believe that Putin allowed the huge loss of his population.
Himars range of new southern front
That's why Putin annexed Kherson, because he didn't want it. Okay
Germany wasn’t under any external threat. There’s was a fiduciary one caused by incompetence and corruption. To attempt to annex more lands/countries was a mistake. They should have been satisfied with revitalizing their economy. Hitler was a psycho. Giving him power was like giving teenagers alcohol and car keys. Just a bad idea.
