MAJEWSKI: I Am a Republican Who Lost on Tuesday. It Wasn’t Trump’s Fault. It Was the Cowards in D.C.’s ‘McLeadership’.
The National Pulse ^ | 11/11/22 | J.R. Majewski

The corporate media is working overtime to hide the Republican establishment’s failures in the 2022 midterm elections –perpetuating a myth that Donald J. Trump dragged his endorsed candidates down. This is a complete lie, told in order to embolden GOP leaders in Washington D.C., and ignores the fact that in so many instances, this same “McLeadership” set MAGA candidates up for failure.

In my situation, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) – led by Chairman Tom Emmer – backed one of my opponents in the primary. She finished in third place, with less than 30 percent of the total Republican vote. Now Tom Emmer wants a promotion.

During my primary, the local, establishment GOP shunned me. In fact, the Erie County GOP apparatus even went so far as to write a letter to the local liberal media giving them their endorsement, violating their own charter. Right before the primary, establishment operatives from the Lucas County Young Republican Club posted false images on Twitter claiming I sent messages calling Trump an idiot in an effort to sway him from endorsing me. It worked, in part, thwarting an early endorsement. But Trump still graciously gave me a shout out at the rally in Gallion, Ohio, boosting my standing, which led to my primary win.

At least now there is some hope people will wake up to who really sabotaged this election for the Republicans.

Seems President Trump has more than a few legit gripes with the establishment and a lot goes on behind the scenes that we are totally answer of.

Gonna give Trump a pass on his recent mean tweets and really hope he explains why he went down that path.

I have never known Trump to start a fight unless seriously provoked beforehand

I remember this guy. I think maybe Tucker had him on.

James Richard (J.R.) Majewski ran for Congress in 2022, served in the U.S. Air Force (1993-2003) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and works as a senior leader in the nuclear industry.

Go read the whole thing to see how bad he was treated by the NRCC.

2024 is a long way away, I will keep my powder dry for now, and throw neither Trump nor DeSantis under the bus.

We were not going to win this one with the lack of a wave, as the incumbent democrat took better than 55% every election, and took 57% this one.

a 3-way primary, it’s hard for the 3rd place person to be above 30%, Majerzki got 36% in his victory.

Candidates seem to have forgotten that a primary part of being a candidate is to raise money and get people to vote for you. If you are depending on other politicians to raise your money for you, you are probably expecting to serve them rather than do your job.

Trump of course put no money into this race.

The guy is likely correct, it isn’t Trump’s fault he lost, it is a combination of the district being democrat, and his failure to attract enough voters to beat his opponent.

“This is a complete lie, told in order to embolden GOP leaders in Washington D.C.”

Never take the counsel of your enemies. The MSM is always quick to tell the right what we need to do to win next time.

Yes, we should all understand. The Democrats do GOTV, get low-motivated people to do the minimum work, namely “sign a request for a ballot”, and later “mark a few boxes and sign an envelope”. The GOTV does the rest, they get the applications, they call repeatedly to make sure people who claimed they would vote democrat have filled out the paper and mailed it.

Meanwhile, Trump tells the GOP voters to come out on election day. Low-motivated people who might vote republican won’t bother, more motivated people might have car trouble, or be sick, or work late, or the lines are too long.

The GOP needs to embrace mail voting and early voting, until we can eliminate it. Rather than fighting it, we should propose safeguards to keep postal workers and others from playing with the mail. We should do ballot harvesting wherever the democrats have made it legal. We should hit every senior home and assisted living center. we should get employees placed there. If they are allowed, they should help eery senior vote republcian. If they are not, they should report other workers breaking the law for democrats.

We can keep pretending that “ED” is the best, but it doesn’t work in an environment where the other side can get their voters with 10 minutes of total effort, while we keep asking ours to do 2-3 hours of work on a single day.

You can’t win a rigged election folks. Until these “losing” candidates come out and demand investigations into stolen elections, then nothing will change and the communists will continue grooming, mutilating, and brainwashing kids.

Did you read the article?

“ Right after that, Trump gave me his full endorsement and made a contribution to my campaign. We also had several telephone calls, wherein he offered me his complete support. The NRCC, on the other hand, offered nothing but passive support, dragging their feet behind the scenes. They delayed implementing me into their Young Guns program, which cost our campaign a significant amount of donor exposure.”

I have posted comments previously stating that the loses in both the House and the Senate of seats that were definitely winnable, were totally the fault of GOP leadership. Their lack of support for candidates was visible throughout this election.

For instance, after vilifying Herschel Walker for months, and giving the media plenty of sound bites to use against him, they are suddenly pretending he is “their” guy. Walker made it to the run-off in spite of them. If they had helped at all, instead of letting the left and the media set the narrative, Walker would have won outright.

They refused to support Trump-endorsed candidates because they did not want Trump to get a “win”. And now, they blame him?

Trump was the head of the Republican party. He allowed these people to be in their roles.
