Former President Trump on Friday took aim at Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) amid rumors that the businessman could run for president in 2024.
“I Endorsed him, did a very big Trump Rally for him telephonically, got MAGA to Vote for him – or he couldn’t have come close to winning,” wrote Trump on his Truth Social account.
Trump has been hinting at announcing another bid for the White House as early as next week.
Trump also made a comment about Youngkin’s name sounding “Chinese” as he attributed the governor’s 2021 election win to his support.
“Young Kin (now that’s an interesting take. Sounds Chinese, doesn’t it?) in Virginia couldn’t have won without me,” said the former president.
The post by Trump comes a day after Youngkin’s Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears (R) said that she “couldn’t” support Trump if he made a third bid for the Oval Office in 2024.
“I could not support him. I just couldn’t,” said Sears, adding that voters are saying “enough is enough” in relation to Trump through their midterm votes.

I’m just glad he’s moved on from DeSantis. Maybe I’ll go through the whole entire list of governors. Sarah Huckabee sanders batten down the hatch.
As the media driven soap opera turns, the DC Junta plies its treachery unchallenged.
Oh, did Winsome Sears turn? LOL. At least we try.
They are trying to divide us.
Money talks.
That didn't take long. Trump turns out the lights and they all immediately scurry out.
the irony is that his name is americanized form of german juncken or jünken patronymics from the Low German personal name Juncke.
It does sound Chinese thought I was the only one that noticed that
My initial thoughts,
Trump is building interest by saying things about Republicans so that all the news channels carry him on Nov 15th.
I don’t know.
Republicans have to line up in support of Trump.
Simple.
He won in 2020.
He deserves this and his track record as CIC is stellar.
Desantis in 2028. Can fight it out with Pompeo, Young Kin, Lake or whomever.
There’s a good supply chain,
the deep state IS trying to divide us, but they don’t have to lift a finger here since if you follow Trump on TruthSocial, you’ll see everything is coming in directly from him word for word.
The Donald has become unhinged. He’s become vicious and nasty. His big mouth is pissing off all his loyal supporters. I’m moving on.
Nope, just whoever’s running or likely to run. The establishment have decided they’re going to replace Trump. Their first choice is DeSantis and second, Youngkin. The big money donors and political class have already started their version of the primary. Trump knows this so he’s in primary mode and we know what that’s like from 2016. Barbs, jabs and nicknames.
I wonder how much more popular he’d be if Trump hammered on ISSUES instead of personal attacks. He is right in the issues, so I suspect he’d be a lot more popular
The issues he first ran on resonate with a broad cross section of Americans, even though Paul Ryan Republicans hate them:
Build a wall
Build infrastructure
Bring back jobs and industry from the Third World
Affordable health coverage for all
Tax hedge fund billionaires
Defend Social Security
Why did he stop talking about these issues? It didn’t help him to try to make nice with the establishment - or to base his criticism of Mitch and all on personal attacks and namecalling, instead of on their unpopular positions on ISSUES
The Winsome woman is a Michael Steele "Republican", aka, RepublicanLite®. And like Steele, she uses a color wheel to coordinate her outfit.
I hope Trump knows what he’s doing because I sure as hell don’t
I think so.
He is very unconventional but it worked.
What Trump’s doing is ugly.
Many things he does are ugly.
His approach works.
Funny, at least his sense of humor is intact.
