Breitbart ^ | 11/11/2022 | WENDELL HUSEBØ

Posted on 11/11/2022 9:21:18 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, was reportedly planning to challenge Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for the top GOP Senate leadership position until the expected red wave on Tuesday failed to appear.

Scott apparently changed his mind about leadership intentions after a runoff in Georgia appeared to be the only path in which Republicans could capture the majority, according to Politico. Scott had reportedly created a video to declare his intentions and had contacted influential Republicans to set his plan in motion.

Our Senators don’t care.

Spineless the vast majority are.

Rick is an idiot for suggesting cutting Social Security during the midterms, while Republicans are voting to send billions to Ukraine.

NO!!! Our side STAYED HOME again!!!~ We want PERFECT CANDIDATES....CHRIST-LIKE......which DON'T EXIST!!!

A freeper said she voted "PRESENT" instead of voting for Lankford!! I'm sure we had THOUSANDS of conservatives doing that!!

We don;t DESERVE to win!!

Thousands of Democrats and Independents probably voted for DeSantis because he has done a FABULOUS job!!!

You’re right. In PA, 1.6 million Trump voters stayed home. If just 1/3 of them had showed up, Oz and Mastriano would have won. Plus there was a congressional race in Oregon where the Constitution Party candidate drew 2%+ and siphoned off enough votes from the Republican.

But to use the analogy in football. Usually a good offensive or defensive coordinator, gets a head coaching gig, only to realize that he was a much better coordinator than head coach.

It’s like that going from Governor to POTUS.

Kentucky has a gubernatorial election next year. They currently have a Democrat governor who is likely to lose. I think the Turtle is just waiting for a Republican to win then he will retire and have the Republican appoint his successor.

His successor will be his hand picked protoge so he’s also going to be a RINO but the path will at least then be clear for Rick Scott to take over in the Senate.

I bet the deal was that if Scott would hold off for 1 year, the Turtle would step aside in his favor.

MAGA needs to leave the Republican party. It is not interested in representing us. We will never save the country as long as the GOP takes advantage of our suffering.

Such a waste of time reading theses threads.

“In PA, 1.6 million Trump voters stayed home. If just 1/3 of them had showed up…”

Eh..no.

In PA, 1.6 million Trump voters stayed home. If just 1/3 of them had showed up Then 1.6 million more votes would have been dealt with

You’re not the only one. In fact everyone thinks like that it seems

But it’s like all the suburban women I know piling on trump. They see his getting along with the media as the goal.

It will never happen. It will NEVER happen

Someone got paid off

He can count. I'd bet that there are at least 35 to 40 senators willing to vote for McConnell. Nobody else can generate that many votes.
