In Ohio some cities have been working on allowing non-citizens to vote, so a state constitutional amendment was on the ballot Tuesday to require citizenship to vote in any state or local election. It passed 77-23%.

Which taxes? Illegals are paying property taxes for landlords, and have kids in school, generally. I think that’s the rationale for letting them vote, countywide. My prefered alternative: “Get the hell out!”

I don’t think the US Constitution says you have to be a citizen to vote. An oversight by the Framers.
