Trump rips losing GOP candidate Don Bolduc after endorsing him

Former President Donald Trump tore into defeated New Hampshire GOP candidate Don Bolduc — whom he had endorsed for the Senate — for walking back his claim that the 2020 election was stolen.

“Don Bolduc was a very nice guy, but he lost tonight when he disavowed, after his big primary win, his long-standing stance on Election Fraud in the 2020 Presidential Primary,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social on Tuesday.

“Had he stayed strong and true, he would have won, easily,” added the former commander-in-chief, who endorsed Bolduc late last week. “Lesson Learned!!”

“General Don Bolduc has run a great campaign to be the U.S. Senator from the beautiful State of New Hampshire,” Trump wrote in the endorsement

Sadly, NOTHING that Trump has said or done in 2022 has been helpful. HE NEEDS TO SHUT UP. More than anything he is HURTING HIMSELF.

Oz was not hand picked by Trump. Trump didn’t even endorse him until halfway thru his campaign.

“And when McConnell cut off funds….”

Seems to me you should be blaming McConnell.

BTW, it’s not Trump who is toxic. According to Biden, the Democrats and MSM, it’s the Republicans/Conservatives who are toxic.

So get used to losing.

Perhaps Trump’s endorsements were the kiss of death and kept people away from the polls. Who knows?

The last opportunity to have saved America was in December 2020 when Trump could have declared Martial Law and exposed the voter fraud. I said then, if we don’t clean up the system we will have a difficult time winning future elections. Some people think we can have a ground swell of energized supporters and overcome the fraud. It didn’t happen last night. Some think we should be more like Democrats (Cheney et al).

Its not going to get better unless the voter fraud is cleared up. Notice the results in Florida last night after their governor did just that.

Trump never discouraged voting in the run off in 2020. I think you are confusing him with loony Lin Wood.

The two NH House candidates stuck with the "stolen election" claim, and got buried by two beatable Democrats.

No. He’s digging it for the entire conservative movement. He needs to shut up but since he can’t do that i’m afraid he just needs to go away

What the hell did Bolduc do? The turtle defunded his campaign deliberately.

*************************************

Exactly, and Trump had over 100 million in his was chest that he refused to use to help the candidates that he endorsed.

Not at all and not even close to being helpful.

I hate to say it but Trump is wearing thinner on me by the day and I was a strong supporter from the day he came down the escalator.

I donated a good deal of money to his campaign but not anymore..The voter base has changed to wards of the State and easily offended...No getting around that.

I have changed from two days ago on this question. More evidence has poured in, the reality is hard to deny…as much as I’d like revenge for what they did to Trump, it’s just not going to happen. The moment passed and in the end it’s become a tragedy heading toward what will be a farce if he tries again.

Nothing to be done about it. Biden and Obama handed him his ass in a head to head matchup in Pennsylvania. They kicked his ass all across that state. That’s the future staring at us.

I think Trump would get crushed very badly if he tried again. I happen to also think DeSantis will get beaten in a national election…just maybe not as badly. What yesterday showed us is the high water mark for Republicans when everything was stacked in their favor. Beginning in 2024, they become a permanent minority party, and there will never be another Republican president.

The demographic time bomb we’ve heard about for many years has gone off.

My belief is that the Democrats in NH were more motivated to vote than the Republicans or Independents.

I do not thing the Independents liked any of the Republican Candidates. Except the guys all like Levitt.

You are absolutely correct, I live over near the Seacoast and it was a record turnout for the Democrats the base is definitely motivated in New Hampshire.

That said in my opinion it is definitely proof that the uniparty is alive and well especially in New Hampshire. Why is that? It’s because the Republican Party failed to get behind buldoc. He was a flawed candidate not perfect, but he was too conservative for the Republican party so they failed to get behind him. It just shows that the Uniparty is alive and well and I also believe that the Democrats also made sure that Buldoc won with the open primaries in New Hampshire that way they had a flawed Republican running with no support and it would allow Hassan or even Joe Stalin to win.

It’s the uni party.. it’s alive and well and the fix for it is repealing the 17th Amendment.

Yeah, it’s time to move on from Trump. The GOP should turn to new leaders like Larry Hogan, Charlie Baker or Phil Scott.

Trump sat on over $100 million of Pac money. It was in his interest to help these candidates, instead, he sat on that money.

Why does the GOPe demand candidates disavow the the theft of election..

Because, for all their faults, they know that normal people are so sick of hearing about it that it makes them want to vomit.

Look, the GOP is finished, no matter who says what. You cannot build a right wing governing majority with its foundation on a party whose leadership despises right wing ideas and works against them constantly.

But the two NH GOP House candidates who stuck with stop the steal after the long-past "sell by" date got buried by two beatable Democrats.

I loved everything about President Trump. I fought for him here against the Cruz people, the "eww, NY is so stinky" people, I voted for him twice - but he's pushing the door into Harold Stassen territory, and I agree with the people above that it's basically over.
