NEWTOWN, Penn. — John Fetterman, the state lieutenant governor, has won Pennsylvania’s high-voltage race for an open Senate seat, defeating celebrity TV doctor Mehmet Oz, bringing an end to one of the nastiest and most expensive campaigns of the year as both parties treated it as a potential tipping point for control of the chamber.
Fetterman will succeed Sen. Pat Toomey, a Republican who opted against seeking re-election.

Does anyone know how the Pennsylvania legislative election went?
Me, too.
Temporarily filling-in for lightman,
while he's smashing PA's demonKKKrat voting poll fraud & corruption,

Pennsylvania just elected their village idiot as US Senator...
IBTZ!
Blue states are happy with the way things have been for the last 22 months and want more if it.
Trump is playing 12 dimensional chess. His candidate got beaten by a vaccine injured turd.
Don’t know if anyone noted this already but the message behind his win has to be ‘the mask is off, removing the gloves will be easy.’
Yeah, but accepting the divine Justice still is sad, even when you know it will be just.
Most of it will be in Philadelphia. It will be relatively peaceful outside of there.
All those murders/carjackings/retail thefts? THEY VOTED FOR IT. Going forward, I will laugh at it. Same for NYC.

Bingo
Run a crap candidate, get a crap result....
OZ was absolutely a crap candidate.. utterly off brand..
and the $100 million+ spend trying to put lipstick on this pig almost certainly cost the GOP other winnable races where that money would have made a difference as well.
You were warned. YOu chose to listen to flappy headed idiots out of NYC and DC selling you shinola, rather than even remotely consider folks who have decades living in PA telling you something otherwise.
Trump picked a LOSER for PA, period... OZ was utterly off brand to win PA as a GOP candidate statewide...
Only reason Oz didn’t lose by 6-8 points (or more) is because of Fetterman’s stroke.
$100Million+ trying to sell a turd.
PA is a blue collar state, particularly in the areas where a R has to win and win big, to have any shot statewide, some carpetbagger showing up in his Italian loafers trying to pretend he’s going to represent the working man was destined to fail. He had no history here to go back to... no political base to draw from... absolutely a horribly bad choice by Trump.
Please, be kind and pray for us Pennsylvanians.
I am in shock. I woke up in a Blue State.
Give us time to grieve.
Congrats to our neighbors in Ohio, who had the good sense tp elect JD.vance to the Senate!
Gotta give you credit here. You were right from the start about Oz.
Now go polish up that crystal ball, and tell us who will win the Repub. nomination for Prez in 2024.
Which of two-headed freak’s heads gets to cast votes in the Senate?
Well I blew the overall election really thought GOP would do better than they have done.... but OZ being the bellweather of great night or good night was a good call.
2024 is now a whole new ball game, everyone is going to, and frankly should be question everything.. if the GOP can’t manage to win solid in this sort of environment, what the hell is going to happen in 2024 I think just opened up a lot....
Need to dig into what just happened a lot more before I even start on that one... will the GOP base question things out of this election or not...
After last nights dreadful performance (and don’t try to sugar coat it folks, last night was AWEFUL for the GOP as a whole)...
They still have a shot at taking the Senate with the GA runoff, but that doesn’t look good, if the GOP just barely gets a lead in the house and the Senate stays status quo... then I don’t see how what was “standard belief” yesterday morning doesn’t become hugely questioned going forward.
If Kari Lake loses in AZ, and I am still not sure why the vote totals have been stuck at 66% counted forever out there... then I think, even more so, everything is going to get questioned.... that race shouldn’t even be close.. and it may honestly not be depending on where the remaining 34% are... but if this race isn’t a blowout hard to see how any race in a somewhat competitive area will ever be one.
