Kash Patel, who has said Trump declassified documents as president, previously declined to testify, citing right against self-incrimination WASHINGTON—Kash Patel, a close associate of former President Donald Trump, is set to soon testify before a federal grand jury probing the handling of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago after receiving immunity for his information, people familiar with the matter said.
A federal judge recently decided the Justice Department couldn’t force Mr. Patel to testify without such protection against his statements being used against him in some future prosecution. That ruling, the people said, opens the door for Mr. Patel, who says Mr. Trump broadly declassified White House documents while still president, to answer questions. Mr. Patel appeared before the grand jury last month and refused to provide information by repeatedly invoking his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Kash, just got a pass to nail the shit out of everyone in court. They will not indict Trump on anything Kash has to say. Also, now that he has immunity he can tell everyone what he said in front of the grand jury. He is allowed to say everything he knows without fear of prosecution. Also, it will get covered. Grand Jury testimony is secret...meaning the government can’t tell it. But any individual is allowed to say what they said in front of a grand jury.

The immunity “deal” is really between the prosecutor and the judge who will now compel him to answer with the threat of jail for contempt.
