There was some debate on earlier threads that the elder abuse charge implies the two knew each other. That I assume from the circumstances and the 911 call is now a given.
If Nancy Pelosi thought a Republican tried to attack her, she would have been screaming for four days straight.

Charges will disappear in six months as mental evaluation is completed, and the guy is declared nuts. He’ll get shipped off to some state facility, and eventually removed back to Canada to sit in one of their facilities.
Three of those code words must have been “he’s a friend”.

There are a lot of meetings to figure out when, where and how to off DePape.
They’ll quietly cute a deal, toss him in prison where he’ll quietly suicide when the cameras are off line.
Although we’d think an attempted murder charge would make it more likely to get the truth via a vigorous defense, I believe it does the opposite. I believe it is the first move in ensuring there is NO defense.
They will offer to plead down to a lesser charge in exchange for complete silence from the defense. The whole strategy is to charge him as high as you can to buy you leverage when the “negotiations” start.
Watch for it.
