McConnell was able to hide behind the "legitimate rape" comment by Todd Akin, the "God intended to happen" comment by Richard Mourdock, the "I'm not a witch" comment by Christine O'Donnell, and the forged sexual allegations against Roy Moore.
But he can't hide what he did to Blake Masters, Gen. Don Bolduc, and Kelly Tshibaka.

I think that’s Tim Scott, not Rick.

The Turtle kept Bammy’s Merrick Garland off the Scotus.
We got Trump’s nominee, Neil Gorsuch.
Not speculation.

"He supports Lisa Murkowski.... I call for him to resign and let DeSantis to appoint someone real."
Thanks for that info. I hadn't realized it until I saw your comment, then did a search. Screw Rick Scott.

Nope... Rick Scott was in charge of the money going to her. But Tim Scott did endorse her.

I was married to a habitual liar and philanderer, then worked in New York State's prison system for 25 years. I learned very early not to trust anyone, or anything, not even the people I worked with. That hasn't changed in the 20 years I've been retired either. Question everything.

But would be easier to manage with a likely thin Conservative margin....

It’s more McConnell’s style to make a deal in the background.
He’ll keep the job (he only needs 28 votes...anything is possible but difficult to believe he would have more than half the sitting US Senators in the caucus against him), but step down at the end of the year...with the help of the entire GOP to oust Beshear as governor so a GOP governor will pick his replacement, ending his career on a high note as the Majority Leader while removing himself to the wishes of many.

I caught that also; after all 2019 was ONLY three years ago. Rubio was a young, political NEWCOMER? WHA . . . ???

He will carry the water for the left which is worse than being a do nothing. We have another Muslim who doesn’t get referred to by his first name running as a Republican. I remember the last Muslim who didn’t go by his first name either… who is probably still doing a lot more In the fundamental transformation of America department.

“Marginally better than the turtle.
Marginally.”
WRONG.
Scott would be infinitely better. He’s MAGA, fer crying out loud.
And yes, he’s my Senator, and yes, I’ve been asking Freepers to call their R Senators, tell them to Ditch Mitch, vote for Rick!
