I can't believe this needs to be said, but Ukraine is not in NATO. It is a highly corrupt country. It is not a "democracy." It has banned 10 political parties. It is not a US state. It has millions of ethnic Russians. This conflict is not worth starting a nuclear war over.
I am not sure what drugs the rest of the media is on, but these things need to be said to the audience when reporting on this conflict. There are only MILLIONS OF LIVES at stake.

How corrupt is a country when it has been invaded, millions are refugees, every city and region is a battlefield, in short at this time the whole country is organized for war.
There is always some war profiteering, but at this time the Ukrainian economy is not functioning in a way that companies or oligarchs or whatever can just have corrupt companies.
And the strategic value of Ukraine to Russia or the USA ir Europe has virtually nothing to do with corruption that existed or even still exists.
This is war, not a civics class.
And it amazes me that these are EXACTLY the nonsensical arguments used by the left to assist the comunists during the Vietnam War.

Only this time no one criticize the willingness to fight off the Ukrainians. There are no American troops and the Ukes are directly handling the massive Russian invasion.
