Will GOP leaders betray us again, post-red wave?

It is all too likely our Republican leaders will betray us once again and will turn our Nov. 8 victory into a defeat.

It is all too likely we will once again suffer the "death of a thousand cuts" at the hands of our leadership – bleeding away the impact of electoral success and draining the life from our great movement.

Sen. Mitch McConnell will likely hold GOP leadership in the Senate; who can stop him? He likely will be erroneously credited with the success of new and MAGA Republican senators – even though he fought against the election of most of them.

Even though his leadership is uninspired and uninspiring. Even though more often than not he uses his power in opposition to both conservative and America First principles. Even though he betrays his base with clock-like regularity.

Republican leaders like Mitch McConnell are worse than Democrats. At least Democrats fight for their own. At least Democrats are loyal to their brand.

It is more than likely Republicans will also impose upon themselves a second defeat – by electing Kevin McCarthy as speaker of the House.

McCarthy, too, will wrongly be credited with the Republicans' victory this fall, despite his Herculean efforts to prevent the election of any Republican not loyal to him.

The existing and newly crowned MAGA candidates will likely not achieve numbers sufficient to unseat McCarthy. Once again we will be saddled with an ineffectual and inarticulate Republican leader, one already long compromised by his donors. McCarthy will persist, however, absent courage, absent vision and absent the wisdom to promote the America First ideas of his new colleagues.

Mark Levin was talking about the lack of leadership from the Republican party as the never seem to be able to overturn ANY DemoNazi-passed laws. They just quietly allow our rights to be whittled away one at a time.

The recently passed Safe Neighborhoods Act imposes an additional 3-10 days for an 19-20 year old to take possession of a long gun so that someone can supposedly do extra background checks on them using juvenile records and social media checks.

Well, instead of this woe is me, our leadership sucks, why don’t you support everyone who would like to change the leadership. McConnell serves at the sufferance of his party, not the other way around.

What a silly question, of course they will.

It's never going to be perfect but it's getting better due to Trump. People should be constructive in their criticism IMO and can always try to run for office themselves.

Of course they will!

The real power of the congress is to control the purse strings. Essentially, the same thing that happened under the Obama administration will happen under Biden’s: the GOP congress will get in a standoff with the Democrat president over the budget. The gov’t might shut down but the GOP will get scared as the DNC politicians start squawking to the press about people hurting due to the shut down. The GOP, just like they ALWAYS DO will cave in and the out of control spending and DNC marxist agenda will creep forward...just like it always does.

Who can’t see this coming?

The RINOs already announced they will..

What sort of political party, less than 3 weeks before a critical election, would announce that they’ll continue their oppositions’ policies if they weren’t the opposition to begin with?

I think that we need to start looking at very serious programs to find and good primary candidates to ‘primary’ any and every RINO/MIC/NEOCON in Congress. In essence, true conservatives have to fight a two-front war - against Democrats and our ‘own.’

McConnell and McCarthy and the guy is trying to debate the motivations of Judases. We all know what to expect when Uniparty (D) sits down snd Uniparty (R) takes the field.

I’m sure they can’t wait to reach across the aisle and pass bipartisan legislation

It’s sad that we’ve mainly got a choice between evil demonic scum and useless back-stabbing nitwits.

The GOP will never win while half of the team is secretly working for the Rats, taking turns on who will help kill effective GOP legislation.

The republicans will say a lot, do very little and let the clock run out until the demonrats takes the next election.

China, Obama and his fun-loving Marxist pack, Soros, and billions of dollars a special interest will have their way regardless who wins. It took both sides, especially willing Republicans to wreck the country.

Am I imagining things, or if a majority of Senators voted against him, wouldn’t that stop McConnell?

Maybe we should be asking why this isn’t being done.
